kind of dissapointed in the use of .5 increments and the removing of gameplay and all...made it all a bit more precise..

But i like the medals and the good bad thing rehaul making it look overall better...

I'd think it would get a 8.5 ...old system a 8.7 or so.

I think that Gamespot will probably give it a 7.5 of maybe an 8.

I don't like the .5 review system that that they'll remove sound/graphics/gameplay/tilt and value. Other than that it's all good.

EXAMPLE: say if it gets an 9.0,do you believe it should be compared to something that received say a 9.1?(Resident Evil Wii Edition also a port from a great game)?

No, this system is better because it's hard to narrow down the different mechanics of a game into five category. It's also harder to say exactly how good the game is. Look at the Blast Factor review. They made it sound like they had a lot of fun with it, but it only got a 6.6 because of some areas weighing it down. That doesn't make sense since the score should reflect how much fun you actually had with the game.

I'll stick to IGN for my reviews. Gamespot is always comparing PS3 port games with 360 for graphical comparisons.darkmanure
