I doubt it. The PSP has a big market share and if Sony's philosophy is anything to go by it will have a ten year lifestyle. Whilst a lot of the big games will be released on the Vita Sony will still make sure the PSP is still supported as an entry level console like the PS2 was after the PS3 was released. Maybe in two or three years time when it's come to the end of it's life cycle there will be heavy discounting. Even the DSi is still going strong with the 3DS release.
I don't think it'll be some massive blowout sales or anything, as I still would assume Sony still sees some life for. However, I think eventually it'll come and they'll more than likely do a price cut in the future. But I don't think that will happen until Sony is comfortable with where the vita is.
well they have psp sales all the time... there is one right now (in australia) where the gta games are 50% off and a few others.... a blowout sale though? hmmmm... i dont see that happening...maybe with sonys first party games but thats about it..
