I got the new PSP and I was trying out the WLAN feature. I have a wireless network on my own and it's not encrypted, no security passkey is needed. I went through all the steps and for the life of me I still can get on wirelessly. Anyone got suggestions?

Is mac address filtering on? Check all of your router settings and do all manual settings on your psp.

do you have DHCP turned on in the router? if not, you would need to give the psp a static ip.

Thanks for some of the posts given. I have my wlan switch on. And I will have to loook in the MAC filter suggestion. I have already manually configured the ip address going to the PSP and no justice.

I had this same problem when I tried getting my PSP to connect to my online. All I did was restore my PSP to factory defaults and it did the trick. I'm not sure if it's your problem but this is what worked for me.
