This just popped into my mind, I'm sure it's been brought up before but; GS designates "levels" to us so why not make up a forum game that allows GS members to "battle" opinions according to level stats? The purpose would be to ultimately determine the "winners" of forum arguments. It could be played like a strategy RPG in that each poster could rally support for their side of the argument from other posters (within a time limit) and the other posters stats would play directly into the game. Winning the standoff would result in bonus level points and losing would result in demerits. The challenges would be triggered by an option in the (select an action below) drop-down and when triggered, the mods on-duty would fall in to referee the event. If this would be too much trouble for the existing mod staff to implement I'd be happy to work with GS (in my free time) to upstart this idea. myxylplyx

The reason you see people do that simply boils down to the fact that they can't or don't want to afford the "pricey" PS3. (Even though when you break down the PS3's value compared to the competition the PS3 wins out hardcore. Unfortunately, things like seatbelt laws and FDA regulations are now destroying the 'Survival of the Fittest' laws and IDIOTS ARE THRIVING.)

Yeah only IGN really seemed to have a problem with it, and i usually find their reviews to be off the mark anyways. GS is usually pretty accurate IMO.

yea vancouver! woohoohehoo? west van. i think heveanly sword is a great game but i will wait a while because i'm still trying to get me 5 stars in resistance and waiting for warhawk to be fixed. Also these games have never apealed to me they usually are rentals for me.Makavelimajid

North Vancouverite here! Yeah! The only thing is that 24hour is not the most credible source. But hey I still think that HS is going to be a very solid game and still on my buy list that is for sure!

From memory MGS on the PS was SHORT ---- SHORT but the EXPERIENCE or rather MY personal experience with the game was more so so positive that i didn't care if it was short. IMHO that is why i play games for - the experience, the atmosphere (bioshock as the more recent example for most). So yeah, length wise it doesnt matter TO ME :P my 2 cents.

yeah most reviews give it an 8 to 9 out of 10 with the only major complaint being that its a short game..... This is a definate buy in my book.... hopefully getting it this week.ajefferism

I wouldn't worry too much about the trolls on here. Even when MGS4 and UT3 are coming out they'll be picking out minor details that aren't perfect and telling people that they're not worth the money, even if they do get AAA scores.

If you like the look of the game, buy it or rent it, because it certainly looks like its worth a go at the very least.
