Hands Down, it's got to be Terminator Salvation.
Was told to play it because its a quick platinum. my god. it was so badly done i couldn't complete it. just bloody terrible.
IMHO, i think uncharted was pretty rubbish too. Very slow and boring and truely overhyped
Hm. Worst ever? Impossible to say, have played so many bad games. However, there are very few games without some redeeming characteristic. At the moment I'll have to say McFarlane's Monsters (sp?). Horrendously bad game. You have to clear around 80 enemies (which are just 2 enemy types) to gain access to the town area THEN you have to kill monsters for a randomly generated loot. I guess this might've been acceptable on the NES or Genesis, but this was a ps2 game. And the people who actually worked on the project have told me it gets worse from there!
Salvation looks like art compared to Damnation. However, Damnation is a VERY easy plat with around 8 golds.... AND it can all be done in one play-through if you go coop from the beginning. Although I thought Uncharted was good, Dead Space has to be the most overhyped POS in years. First 20 minutes are spooky, then you have around 6 or 8 hours of sheer boredom... which have to be repeated at least twice (one replay to collect enough cash for the upgrade everything trophy, then you have to play through on impossible or whatever which is garbage since the only big gameplay change is enemies play dead). DSpace was probably the "easiest" plat I've done so far, although Damnation comes damn close.Hands Down, it's got to be Terminator Salvation.

Finally, someone agrees. Don't get me wrong, I thought Deadspace looked fantastic, was a really cool idea, had a very dark and forboding atmosphere, and the gameplay mechanics were top notch. HOWEVER, none of that was enough to keep me entertained. I found it horribly boring after the first couple of acts. The story was quite lame with little to keep you going. Isaac was a voiceless errand boy for most of the game. The scare tactics were pathetic. I don't get how it was so scary. I wasn't frightened a bit by it. I actually found myself laughing as things popped out at me and I sliced their heads off. The other weapons in the game are pretty pointless. The standard weapon was the only thing I used until those little wormy bug things were everywhere and then I used the machine gun. I don't want to be bashing this game, but not even my love for trophies could motivate me to finish it. To this day I haven't and I don't care. Deadspace isn't a bad game, but its not for everyone and is most definitely overhyped.
Now, ya wanna talk about a bad game? Prototype. I got a lot of crap from a few people for talking poorly about that game, and this month I find it listed under Game Informer's "Top Ten Disappointments of 2009." Haha. Told you. It was actually the only game listed and was sitting next to industrial stains like the PSP Go and the ever-present RROD.

I thought Prototype was OK.
Not great, but alright. i got about two thirds through it before something better came along!
I have to say, i think it's more disappointing due to activisions lazy market strategy. Going up against Infamous, Prototype had no chance. and looked twice as bad as it actually was compared to InFamous and it's beautifully made graphics and gameplay.
Now a real disappointing game for me had to be Haze!
I was well excited to play that. and it had about as much gameplay value as a whoopy cusion full of holes!
The very first Rayman. Not because it's bad, but because I got stuck years and years and years ago on the Music world and couldn't figure out where the heck I had to go. Poor level design killed the fun for me.

call me whatever, but i actually liked bubsy 3d

Hello friends, i agree with what you say, i found the voiceless Isacc was a poor move as it conveyed no emotions which in a horror game you want to feel the tension, fear of the character so when you do get overwhelmed and die its like meh. Also what you said. Worst i say would be Enemy Terrority:Quake Wars.Gamespot says Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing. Since this is the PS3 board however, I usually don't play games with bad ratings, but I'd say Valkaria Chronicles and Bayonetta, with an (dis)honorable mention to Darksiders.
Ever?
Superman 64. I was 6 when I tried that game, and that has set my standard for games ever since. I guess that's why I like some mediocre games.
But on ps3, Haze. I was hyped for it, but goddamn did it suck.
dynasty warriors gundam. just awfuljjak91that that game, fallout 3, and oblivion are the only games ive bought and returned on the same day... where dynasty warriors gundam sucked in every way possible... im sure FO3 and oblivion are great games in their own respect, i just couldnt get into them
