I've been thinking about getting a PSP for a while now and I wondering is it worth getting one? Is there enough good games for it? I like RPG games and I'm think about getting FF7:CC and the three MGS games.

yes it is worth getting one but only if you are able to get a connection to the internet (wireless router). it makes the experience unforgettable.

Games I personally recommend: Tekken Dark Resurrection, CRUSH, MGS Portable Ops, Field Commander, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max. Best RPG (strategy-RPG for that matter) is Jeanne D'Arc hands down. Portable Ops won't let you down as an MGS game. God of War Chains of Olympus is also good to have to totally understand what the PSP is capable of in terms of graphics. Save for Jeanne D'Arc I have all the aforementioned titles and I absolutely have no regrets getting them. But there are many, many more I could recommend. Overall, the PSP is a great handheld, and while many people regret getting one, I absolutely don't.

the PSP is by far and away the best looking handheld out there how DS is destroying it I still do not know. anyways, it's biggest downfall is it's games, I didn't like final fantasy CC that much and i'm a huge fan of the series, but to each it's own. enjoy the psp, and the best game is god of war.

Yes, the PSP is worth having. Its my primary gaming device that I use when I get free time. Having a public exam and all... so straight out lemme say - if you have little time on your hand, and want to make best use of it, get a PSP. It can play songs, videos and the games are perfectly made to suit "break times".

The games are great :

Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core

Tales of Eternia

Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops

Killzone Liberation

Tekken : Dark Resurrection

God Of War : Chains of Olympus (disappointing as a GoW game though... each to his opinion I guess:P)

Daxter

Ratchet and Clank : Size Matters

Secret Agent Clank

Syphon Filter Dark Mirror

Syphon Filter 2 Logan's Shadow

and a whole lot more I haven't mentioned.

And many more games are being released this year :

Final Fantasy Dissidia

Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep

Parasite Eve - Third Birthday

Persona 1 Remake

and lots more...

SO - long story short - get a PSP.

It's definately worth having. It's probably the most underrated system I've owned.
