Worth taking the plunge?

well recently I've been getting very bored with my 360 and am beginning to wonder whether or not to get a ps3 (im not trding in 360, just most of the games i have for it.. there is a very attractive deal on amazon for a ps3, motor storm, resistance fall of man, and hdmi cable, and £10 off a spare controller, all for £350 (the ps3 alone with no games was £425 up till a week ago). the deal ends on November 30th so i have to raise the money quick. in order for me to get the ps3 £150-£200 of this money needs to be raised by trading in 26 of my 360 games (id be keeping 6), which includes many i haven't finished. i hate trading games in and so am not sure if its worth it. the rest of the money i can get fine, but its this 150 thats troubling me.

is it worth trading in all those 360 games? (keeping the 360 itself)

You need to trade in 26 of your Xbox 360 games to get 150 pounds? That's like 10-15 bucks each...wow...that hurts...What games are these? You are taking a BIG loss on those games. Unless of course, you don't play them at all...

The PS3 is totally worth getting. It is a wonderful piece of hardware with an absolutely frightening 2008 lineup.

Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2, Gran Turismo 5, Unreal Tournament 3, Devil May Cry 4, Burnout Paradise, Infamous, The Agency, Little Big Planet, Grand Theft Auto 4, Tekken 6, and possibly even Final Fantasy XIII.

Many of the games listed above are PS3 exclusives too...

PS3 is totally worth having. 2007 lineup isn't nearly as strong as 360's, but after 2008...it doesn't look like there is any turning back.

If the PS3 has games available now, or in the near future, then yes, it's absolutely worth it. You must gauge your interest in the system by seeing which games, if any, interest you enough to buy one.

I find the PS3 to be awesome (mind you I'm also a 360 owner) and I don't regret my purchase at all. Heavenly Sword, Resistance, Motorstorm, Warhawk, Folklore, Lair and more, have made my PS3 experience excellent.

The future looks excellent when you look at the list of games coming between now, and the end of next year.
