I'm not sure why, but I for some reason thought the Orange Box would be a great game to have for PS3, so a couple months back, I went and reserved it and paid it off in full. Now I'm seeing this 2 month delay, and it has me worried. I don't care that much about the waiting 2 months, but I'm very worried that the game will be another crappy port and despite the delay still not be as good as the 360 version.

I have a 360 Elite, along with my 60 gig PS3. Should I just go and buy change my reserve and get Orange Box for 360, or do you guys think it's going to be worth waiting for on the PS3?

I personally am getting it for the PC (pre-loading it now) because I don't want gimped multiplayer. Also, nowadays you can get by with the HL2 engine with a half-decent equipt rig. I will be getting UT3 on the PS3 however!

the achievements on this game are going to be sick, hopefully there alot of challange, I have the 360 version pre-ordered so i should get it in a few days, i don see a reason to get the ps3 version unless you dont have a 360, hopefully it desnt get delayed again on the ps3.

If it'd be a crappy port it wouldn't be delayed two months i think. This time is porbably needed because it's difficult for them to program for PS3 for the first time and they rather deliver a quality product than forcefully deliver a lacking product in time.

Get it on your PC then. I guarantee that the PC will be the best of the versions anyway.

I got all the Hl games on my PC but I think I'm going to get it for my PS3 so I have more games to play on it and for my friends who hate playing PC games.

I would grab the 360 version if not the PC version. 360 would have achievement plus Team Fortress 2 is multiplayer and the 360 has a much better online system.

With the choice between the PS3 and 360 you should definately get it for the 360 because the community will be larger and the game will probably be better. The PS3 version is a port from EA while the others are made by Valve.

actually it is two months. Official release date got pushed back from one month late 11/13 to 12/11. Sadly valve although being a great developer doesn't love the ps3. If you can get it on pc first and foremost, and second get it for 360 just so that you don't have to wait, it should be fine on ps3 and a welcome addition to the library but it won't be the best version.

I'm hoping it won't be any problems with PS3 version, it all comes down to developers team.

From technical point there should be none. PS3 is more then capable to take full advantage of Half-Life. I don't personally care for achievements. So, playing online for a few matches and great single player is all that I wish for.

Another point: PS3 controller is fine for shooters, all it takes is a person to learn how to use it. I didn't hear anyone having issues with Resistance or Call of Duty, or Darkness, or even Clive Jericho. The point is, PS3 is as adequate for any shooter as is for Xbox360.

If it wasn't we wouldn't have Killzone 2 on horizon.

I certainly never experienced any issues, it all comes down on which system you prefer. If you like to play shooters on X360 go right ahead. Aside from achievement points which some people care for and some don't there is no difference between two great consoles.

Since I don't have a good PC nor X360, PS3 will offer same enjoyment as long as the game is done properly.

FPSs are usually always better with the good'ole keyboard and mouse. which you can use with the ps3 via bluetooth. i'll still probly end up getting the orange box for PC though. too many of my friends are planning to get it on pc.

Absolutely agree, shooters are best played on PC because of Mouse/Keyboard.

I wish I had a good one, but oh well ^_^

I been playing TF2 for a while now and I do not know if I would be able to play it on anything other then the keyboard. Of course it is my personal believe, but it does feel like you have much more control over your character when you can spin around 4 times in a second.

Get it on the system that you want to play it on the most. That's my input. I'm a PS3 man all the way after my 360 failed me twice I told myself that I wont support a company that makes shotty systems and Ebayed my 360.

Get whichever version you think would be more fun to play. That for me, equals a big HDTV with Dolby Digital surround sound. Therefore, I'm getting it on the 360 even though my computer is capable of playing it. PS3 controller doesn't have rumble so that's another bonus point for 360.

Get whatever version suits you but definately get it...

I have a PS3 but I can't wait 2 months, I've waited years already (I Pre-Ordered Team Fortress 2 in 2000 for PC) so I'm going to get the PC version...

EA is publishing the PS3 version and I have a gut feeling they'll screw something up with it...

Half-Life, Team Fortress, Counterstrike, and allValves other games and sequelswill always be PC games in my heart, that's another reason why i'm getting for PC...

Plus the PS3 and 360 versions are ports from the PC version, so that's another reason to get it for PC...

I would get it for PC instead of console systems. But if I have to pick between 360 and PS3, I'd pick ps3. Because PS3 has a much smoother online play than 360 does.
