I take back what I said. At that price, I think I will go for the import after all! That's probably only a few bucks more than it will cost when it releases domestically.
Thanks for the info!
I dotn really miss rumble anyway.snwboardn08I felt the same way until I got my DS3s. The second I fired up a game with rumble support I remember what I liked about it.
i'm willing to wait here in canada.madskillz8
I second that. Meanwhile I'm just gonna get a second Sixaxis.
Id do it right away. I was going to order a white one because North America is most likely not getting them.
I just bought a hockey jersey and 2 hats for like $450 so I think Ill wait for the controller :P .

yeah same. you'll never know if it'll stop working. plus its not a long wait.
Heavenly sword got its patch released today. I think folklore now works with rumble.
importing means u can play the games with rumble early.
The difference is just a few dollars. not worth to wait.
Anyway, when it comes, some shopsmay attempt to raise its price due to supplyshortage and heavy demand.
I play my ps2 games more then my ps3 games and the rumble feature isn't a bad thing. That being said I ordered my rumble from play asia and its not here yet. I think i'm going on day 6.xtree
It takes 5 to 10 days to reach you. Not counting Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
Also this is the festive season, so delay is expected.

I got my black onewhen it was overpriced unfortunately. Now you can get them for 55 - 60 bones.
I like it. other than the heft, I also noticed it's made of a different plastic than the six-axis. The Six-axis has a very dark transparent plastic if you look at it closely. You can see the red light on the top of the controller shining through the plastic.
The Dual Shock 3 on the other hand, Is made of a heavy black plastic, similar to the Dual Shock 1 controllers. It always seemedthe Dual SHock 2 felt cheaper in hand than the Dual Shock 1. The quality is back again on the Dual Shock 3.
Who gives a crap. Rumbling doesn't do much for me......I cant believe people actually want a rumbling controller that badly

U don't know what you are missing until you really experience it. How true.
Going to get two DS3 from PlayAsia soon.
Has anybody tried playing MGS without rumble?! It's just not the same.
Does anybody here own the DS3. If you do, can you confirm if its identical or not to the DS2 rumble.
There was previous promise of the DS3 having better rumble technology or 'touchsense'. But recent articles on the web say DS3 rumble = last gen DS2 rumble.

Anybody can help to confirm what their saying is true? Sorry if this is old news.
