Would you buy MW3 if........

Would you buy MW3 if Infinity Ward used the original CoD4 engine (IW 3.0) and made it more balanced like CoD4 since they know lots of people hate on MW2 which used the IW 4.0 engine but from I think they'll probably enchance the 4.0 engine again but god knows what it'll be like. IW might learn from their mistakes and redeem themselves again but Call Of Duty is turning into a joke because Sledgehammer games are making a CoD action adventure which is gonna be interesting but at the same time tooo many CoDs are coming out.

I wouldnt buy any CoD game at all.

It was the unbalanced nature of MW2 that made me hate it, I didnt mind the engine used at all. If MW3 does come out I at least want it to have BareBones or Pure Team Deathmatch mode like in Black Ops. That way I won't have to deal with cheap attatchments, killstreaks, and perks. If they had that in MW2 I probably wouldnt have sold it because I do think its a fun game when everyone plays fair and balanced.

i wouldn't buy MW3, or any other CoD game, in the foreseeable future.
not saying it's a bad series, but FPS' just aren't my forte.

If it was made like cod 4 then their would be no point in getting mw3...

Honestly,

the engine, the multiplayer gameplay, it doesn't bother me.

I bought and loved black ops, because of the pretty damn cool story. I am hoping for a dcent finishing story for MW3. I would love to know what happens to Soap and Price. Outside of that, i couldn't care less what you make it with :)

i bought black ops..i am enjoying it..but its made me realize that im getting REALLY sick of military shooters... I think ill just stick with sci fi shooters like rage / resistance / brink etc..campzor

I'm truly just sick of fps in general though. Their are only 2 war fps this generation I could say I loved and they are Resistance 1 and CoD 2. I'm more into tactical shooters now, so for me to get into military shooters, they either need a cool scifi thing like Resistance (1, not the crappy sequel), or need to have some tactical gameplay to it, so it's not just a run and gun rambo game.

in my opinion MW1>blackops>MW2. havent played world at war. i dunno i think MW1 just had the best maps. MW2 got all crazy with the killstreaks, noobtubing, commando and technical maps. MW1 variety of maps i think were awesome. countdown was so fun! i loved that map. im enjoying black ops though, kinda a step in the right directioin.

Call of Duty 4 was the peak of the series'.

Everything went downhill from there.

No more Call Of Duty games at all period. The series should have ended or at least took a break after COD4 but with the greed of Activision, Infinity Ward's ignorance, Treyarch's desperation to get notice in the gaming world and COD fanboys, they keep releasing these same games every year.

yea i wouldnt mind at all, cod4 easily is my alltime favorite cod.. more balanced, better perks, still about aiming skilland not about being at the right spot at the right time..just more balanced in general..

but with the technical and graphical quality of mw2 (mw2 was revolutionary in that aspect, the cod's never felt as good technically and looked as good graphically..)

i would rather a futuristic cod with a longer campaign still built in with the action they pack into their 5 hour campaigns.

The call of duty series has become another tonyhawk/guitar hero series. Activision ships out one EVERY year with little to no improvement. As of right now, Blackops is riddled with glitches. As said by another poster, COD4 was the peak of the series.

I won't be buying another Call of duty game. They're starting to leave a stale taste in my mouth.

MW3 won't be as good because most of the top talent of IW left to go join Respawn Entertainment. And Black Ops sucked balls, thank god I didn't buy it. Treyarch just isn't a good developer. I probably wouldn't buy MW3 anyway, COD is just a fad that all the little kids are flocking to. I can't wait for Crysis 2 to hit the shelves.

I would (and probably will buy it), but some improvements definitely should be made. The most notable thing I can think of is the engine, which they really need to move onto a different one to push the series technologically. It has now been four games (COD4, WAW, MW2, and BO) that all run off a similar engine that hasn't really advanced since COD4. Time to move on and start the next technological leap.

I'm done with COD black ops is the final nail in the coffin.

Unless you're speaking of Blizzard, I don't see what else that user would be "missing out" on.

As long as my friends keep buying the Call of Duty games than so will I. It's the only reason i shell out my money for it. :P

I don't really like call of duty that much, I've played all of them besides the origonal, 4 is the only one I really dislike. MW2 was okay I liked the story and that was about it
