Would you change the color to something different? Or keep it black? Take off the glossy finish?

Personally, I would have loved to see a platinum PS3 or a white ps3 be the standard.

My PS3 could be yellow with brown polka dots and blue stripes, I wouldn't give a damn in the world.

Black is nice, it matches my table stand, speakers and HDTV. I would like to see white be available in North America

This much is true. Back when I had my 360 (before the elite) I'd dust of my PS3 every other day while my 360 just sat there. A few days later I'd clean the 360 off and a thick-sih layer of dust would clear off. I'd be so disgusted with myself I'd start dusting it off at the same time with the PS3.

True. But when Sony was designing the PS3, I bet they didn't say "Lets make it black so people can tell when it gets dusty!". People just want a console that looks nice. Dust doesn't look nice. Get what I'm sayin?

if every color in the world was available i would have still by the glossy black that i have, my cell phone is glossy black (morotola krzr), my psp too, my computer, computer's screen, speakers are black, hell even my bed sheets are mostly black, i just wish my printer was black, but the colour was sold out. lol take i guess what's my favorite color lol

Core systems (20/40/new 80) should have been matte housing. People who shelled out te big dough should have been rewarded with more than just a little chrome on the front!
