Would you have preferred Yoda in SC4?

I always loved the idea of including SW characters in the game, mostly because Im a hardcore SW fanboy. At first, I thought that they would include Vader and Luke, then I thought Maybe Anakin and Obi. But I later found that it was Yoda and Vader. I have nothing against Yoda, but the new movies dont make justice to the old ones, and where heavily influenced by what teenagers looked today which is flashy combats.

If they add Yoda later on, I hope that they add a creation for Jedis and Sith too. I have already used Yoda, and as Vader, they portrayed his motion from the movies almost perfectly, but it felt out of place in a serious combat, it was easy to use, and even if you are good, a noob can still make the fight a lot harder by using him.

Vader looks better, and from what I hear, plays better. Yoda doesn't really seem to fit with the rest of the characters.psyched0ut

Neither does Vader really. But more so that Yoda I guess.

I think both will be available for each console via downloadable content. I have the 360 version and there is a little space to the right of yoda that you can't unlock... likewise the ps3 version has a missing square in the top left corner (exactly where yoda is on the 360)

You guys will get to try yoda soon enough. He's pretty cool... but really annoying to fight against because of the reasons the TC mentioned...

After playing with and against him a couple of times I narrowed down his advantages: Fast attacks (countered with slow moving), small, rendering most attacks unuseable as well as grabs. Imagine fighting against a crouched Voldo with the skills of Cassandra. His hits are powerful but he can still be blocked and parried. The number of fighters who can stand ground against him is low, considering that most use mid-high attacks.
