I'd really like if you could earn trophies from PSP games. I hope Sony adds that feature. I'd also like them to add trophies to some PSOne Classic games. So what do you think about this?

Sony has already said trophies for the PSP is a no-go due to hacking.

Thanks for the info. It's a shame as I think it would increase the PSN experience but I understand their concerns.Sony has already said trophies for the PSP is a no-go due to hacking.

In the successor, sure, but there's too much retrofitting that would have to be done to make it viable on this system.
Woops, sorry for the repeated thread. It's been done recently
But I like what people say here to fit it into the next one. As a gimmick, as I'm not really a big fanatic of trophies and achievements. It wouldn't encourage me to play differently or more.

Sony also said they weren't releasing a slim console, weren't releasing a 250gb drive and weren't dropping the price... all in the weeks leading up to that exact change!Sony has already said trophies for the PSP is a no-go due to hacking.

I would like there to be a rewards system on PSP and I'd like it linked to my PSN account but I'd prefer them to separate it from the trophy system. Maybe call them medals or something (get it? Coz they're smaller, lighter and you can carry them around). Use the exact same structure they've got but make it easy to separate your PS3 stuff from your PSP stuff.
Sorta wish MS had done that with their Xbox Live / Windows Live stuff too :(

Yes I thnk this is a good point and like the idea of medals vs trophies :D Definitely need some way of keeping the 2 things separate!!

This is a great idea. Let's hope Sony eventually does a similar system for the PSP.Maybe it would bea good idea. And I can see how Sony can be worried about that stuff but I don't see people hacking their scores and such a big deal to everyone else unless I'm mising something.
I actually would not mind the addition of trophies to PSP games. However, it is highly unlikely that it will happen with PS1 games because that feature was not built in when they originally made the game so it would be difficult to go back and modify each game.
