Would you rather have R2 or KZ2 in 2008?

It seems like KZ2 was delayed to 2009 so it didnt interfere with R2 sales during holidays (what a WEAK reason!).

So Im curious, what game would you rather have seen this year? I was not a fan at all of Resistance, it was pretty generic to me, and from the one gameplay video ive seen of R2 its looks to be the same thing. KZ2 however has had boatloads of money pumped into production, development for 4 years or so and has the best graphics ive ever seen this console generation (other than GT5P maybe). Also the gameplay seems really intense and more like COD4 (my style)

I'm not gonna lie... I never played Killzone, so my hype for KZ2 is a bit weaker than my hype for R2 (because I played RFoM).

So R2 for me.

This is about the same for me. Killzone was all right, but flawed in a number of ways. Resistance was a great game with one or two things that really are no more than minor nitpicks for me. I'll be getting both, but Resistance has more of a proven track record based on the first offerings of both series. I'm more excited about it than Killzone 2, though I'm looking forward to playing both.

I dont think you can compare KZ1 to KZ2, it looks to be an entirely different game.

Im glad that R2 footage i saw wasnt full game,,, the way the ppl moved seemed really static like.

i just really could care less about killzone now...

I'll definitely take Killzone 2 over R2 any-day but I'm happy for them to spend more time on it making it a better game.

60 player online = massive lag.

Since I enjoyed Resistance I'm looking forward to Resistance 2 very much. Insomniac did a fantastic job and it's a proved developer.

They can and will deliver Resistance 2 phenomenally.

Aside from out of this world graphics, I don't know anything else about Killzone 2. I don't play games just for that reason, gameplay, story and fun factor are my primary aspects. And all those were delivered in Resistance.

So, this year R2 is my choice.
