Last I heard, Russia was working its way towards becoming a democracy.  But it's not going to be easy as long as the people are stuck with Putin.  A country that's now in a transitional stage would make a terrible GTA setting.

I think Jet Lee came from China or some other Asian mainland country.  His style of martial arts does not seem at all similar to anything that came from Japan.

Where instead of your three states in san andreas you have 3 countries each the size of the whole of san andreas.

Maybe these countries would be good japan i think this would be good as it has a lot of variety i mean u got some of the biggest building and advanced technoligy in tokyo but then u got ure real poor area's aswell.

I the the second should be europe nothing needs to be said u got october fest wich maybe u could take part in plus the anual tomato fight and the running of the bull.

To all those who don't know: It is a democracy. communism never actually existed (the party was never elected) but there was a socialist party (called communism by foreigners) which disbanded in 1991, so now some A**hole president/bandit is in office (true statement) .

anyway, moscow is very large city and would fit GTA's style well, who cares about the country's political state, it's about stealing cars, making money, pimpin hoes, etc and it's very much possible. You can deal with thugs, crooked cops, mafia, i mean the potential is trully endless, and the character can be an american. I don't how this "transitional stage" that you speak of would hinder the gameplay, bad argument.

I think it would real tight, but probably no one will do that.

On a side note, i don't like GTA :)
