Wouldn't it be nicer to have demo version of every game?

Well, I think everyone here would enjoy them as well as I would...
I mean, why there are no demos for WRC3, new NFS game or AC? Or any other game that is upcoming for vita...

What's the problem? Hard to make it? I doubt that.

I wish to try the demo before I buy the actual full copy of the game...
And I don't know If I should invest my money for WRC or NFS...

Someone play the game at the convent... so why can't they release it to the public?

I have to agree. I was interested in trying a demo of Soundshapes when it came out, but it didn't have one. Mutant Blobs Attack was a pretty big early hit on the system, and it never had one either.

At the same time, a lot of demos really don't let you get a feel for what to expect from an entire game. You don't get to do any level-building in LBPV, and you can't explore all of the game modes in the PSASBR beta. So while it is nice to try those games out, you really don't know what you're getting unless you take a gamble on the game anyway.

Sound shapes is good. I bought that game on premiere date, and I have to say it's nicely done. Very responsive and it has a vivid colours.
About 5 albums with 3-5 songs each. It's not that expensive either way.. And you can customize your own lvls. (including pitch or dur-mol It has quite a lot to offer imo, but could have some free dlc's to expand the music samples, notes and beats.

And you see the point is that... even if the demo is not THAT big... either way you can get the feel of how it steers or how does the graphics really look alike in the game. :)
Battle Royale is great imo. Had some cons before trying it out... but now I'm sure I'll get it sooner or later as it comes out. :)

You only mentioned unreleased games, and releasing a demo months before a game's release wouldn't cause as much hype around a game's launch, which is what marketing teams and publishers are all about. That, and demo code usually is based on the more polished release code, rather than the buggier pre-release code shown at conferences and expos. I'm sure that NFS and AC will have demos. WRC maybe, but the console reviews haven't been great to begin with, so I don't have high hopes.

Yah it's really nice to have demo first. But the thing is games are being release first in JP version. And i think it will cost them too if they'll be doing that in other regions. You're not the only person who is frustrated about that :D at fist I was actually having second on getting dokuro but they dont offer US demo version available. but cool reviews are coming so I purchase it anyway. but hey it's totally worth it.

Unreleased? yea maybe... but they are just about to come out... so that's not a long time. :)

I'm not saying... that demo versions should be done waaay back before the release date...
But either on the premiere date or 1-2 days before. :)

The Playstation Store only updates once a week on Tuesdays (Wednesday in Europe), though. I've seen a couple of demos get posted two weeks before, like Madden NFL and Zero Escape: Virtue's last reward. Just be patient and download the demo the day of the game's release, when they're usually posted.

Same here, Sony prioritize *** users since I've notice most of games in JP have demo. they might cut their budge for the NA users but they didn't realize that a demo is for game testing for smart buyers so i guess all games should have demo to prevent buyer frustrations.

No. Problem is afaik that it's the publisher who have to pay in order to have demos on PSN. I believe they have to pay a small amount of money for every download. That's how I remembver it anyway :p

maybe these companies are still trying to catch up? anyways most of the games has been released in U.S. has been released to JP too. If it's the demo we are getting at maybe we can just watch it on youtube or something?

True, but I think actually being able to play a game you get a better idea of whether you like it than by just watching video of it. I mean, I know demos don't even always show you enough, but I think I have a better idea of what certain games are like once I've had some hands-on time with them, like PSASBR.

Well demo is more important for me so i can experience the gameplay and youtube is other way around since most of the people will show attractive youtube videos then when you played it you might be have two reaction on it satisfied or say wth is this. And most of the games are release in Japan first then NA and lastly EUR.

No, a game's region usually depends more on where it was originally developed. Many games release in Europe first (Motorstorm RC, LittleBigPlanet), and Japan sometimes gets a game later than US (MGS: HD Collection, Assassin's Creed III: Liberation).

yup indeed, most likely U.S. gets the titles last coz some of the game released on their original regions are on their local language or whatnot
