I mean this is what it was like before they delayed it! Back in 2005 i thought the 1st pic was AMAZING!I just found that to be such a ridiculous difference. There are more pics but i think these best showed the contrast.

you know that game was originally for the xbox1. Go check out those beta trailers, if you do that then you will truly see how far the game has come.Sora311
apprently it wasnt, the game was just being made with next gen systems in mind, and they didnt realise just how powerful the next gen systems were, so it got massive upgrades[QUOTE="Sora311"]you know that game was originally for the xbox1. where can I find this beta trailer?
Yeah! Too bad it's gameplay is 6 HRS not worth my cash!email2003
I've finished the game today.
totally worth my money.
The plot and story telling aspect of Heavenly Sword goes fairly under the radar. It wasn't just movie like quality in terms of facial expression, acting, and camera angle. Heavenly Sword has quite deep storyline that many movies today unfortunately dont have.
Also the gameplay is more than solid, and has excellent pacing that just makes you not want to let the controller go.
Great game, I love it. I'd say this is best PS3 game out so far.
While the second one is definately more realistic, I like the design of the first one better.
I'd like to play the game, but I'm not in a real rush to pick it up this instant.

I haven't finished the game yet, but I totally agree with your review, this game is awesome, it's truly on another level in terms of graphics, size, scope and has a captivating story on par with a really good movie. Somehow though, idiot fanboys keep popping up and ignoring all this next gen goodness and say "but the game is only six hours" a reviewer who rushed through the game told me so. I say, Let them miss out, real gamers know the real score.
Sorry it's taken so long to get this up for you guys, but check it out. It was orig. planned for the xbox1. Drastic changes since this prototype trailer.

I'm glad they made it for PS3. The aftertouch effect is really cool.
yeah her hair is still the same lol, but has any one else noticed her face looks different from picture to picture, it never looks the same, its like there are multiple versions of her lolFstBrk342thats what i love most about the presentation in this game. The facial animations are so realistic that its just simply mesmerizing.

ive spent a while aftertouching enemies off cliffs and stuff  ragdoll physics are awesome. this game is so worth it. :D
I got the game on thursday morning didnt play it untill today and so far it's excellent.
At first i was worried as inthe first chapter nearly all the enemie's just stood there not moving, but later on in the chapter and definitly in the second chapter it all changed enemie's started attacking in numbers switching up there stance's, i assumed the first few parts of the first chapter where like that for tutorial purpose's.
Anyway im only onto the 3rd chapter ive been taking my time learning how to do all the combo's properly and trying to time my attacks with a counter first, the combat is excellent one of the best combat systems ive played in this type of game, i'd say it's on par with ninja gaiden in terms of combat(button mashing doesnt really help in these games) the combat is definitly better than gow combat(just my opinion) but the only thing i miss is the exploration and platforming of gow, and a jump button lol i keep trying to jump.
Graphics wise this game is stunning it's definitly on par with the best looking next gen games so far ie: gears of war, bioshock, and it's definitly the best looking game to date on ps3, really shows what the system is capable of. the lovely vista's in the background are crazy i find myself standing staring at the detail.
Production wise this is the best game so far from anything ive seen on next gen console's and pc's, the cut-scence's are beautiful and well paced, voice acting is great, and the camera angles are also good only a few times have i been obstructed from viewing the enemy, but this is expected.
So far the story seems good typical save the world(so far)type ofstory but told very well(and i like those storie's) great character's some of the cut-scences are funny as hell, andy serkis is great as always(i wish he would get some bigger roles in box-office movies).
Ive already mentioned the combat but i will again, i found its done excellently, if you try button mashing a combo you will find it will not finish the combo you need to time your button presses with her actions which is great, i enjoy the fights against normal enemie's unlike other games in this genre where i used to get sick of the normal folk, the stances are done very well no block button makes it interesting and quite difficult when enemie's switch up stances, and the combo moves look awesome especially the super moves.
And this is the first game where i really enjoy using six-axis(except shaking my controller to start the air combat, but it works fine) the kai level where you have to save your dad was great, and also the early cannon ball level, i really enjoyed it, i'd prefer games to use motion sensing like this as just a small feature in the game not a game built around it, six-axis works well in warhawk but i dont use it i prefer the sticks, but everything else ive played with six-axis was poor, mgs4 looks like its doing some great things with six-axis.
Well as you probably can tell i', really enjoying heavenly sword, best ps3 game so far(microsoft should be kicking themselfs for turning away this game, incase you dont know heavenly sword was offered to microsoft first but they turned it down).
Anyone who likes god of war should check out heavely sword.

I really wanna get it but I'm still on the Fence about it, the screen shot difference's are AMAZING and its Way MOre than that Beta movie but I also still thought that the Beta Movie had good Presentation for an XBox 1 game. They just totally Took it to another level.
I"M VERY Happy to see a Truly Great Game for my beloved PLaystation 3>>>>>
