hey guys i just got a ps3 its been 5 days and wow what a system my buddys x360 that i had for 3 weeks does not compare now even close of course i have the HDMI hookup so im running 1080i and 720p rachet and clank 5 looks amazing

plus i got the uncharted demo graphics are unreal i havent seen a game on xbox come close to this jsut to remind you PS3 is only running at 25% wait till we get more power out of it

plug in my ipod bam music instanly internet no problem sure it doesnt have a lot of games so far but it is truly a better system believe me

I have them both, and right now the 360 walks all over the PS3...I do like Blu-Rays though.

No, the 360 will never defeat the Wii, its too cheap to do so. But the PS3? Looking at Uncharted's numbers...unless something MAJOR changes...this one is all but in the bag.

I don't see how, the 360's sales are average in Europe, and almost nonexistant in Japan. You can't win on exceptional US sales alone.

You think these sales will really be like this for the next 4 years?

You're forgetting about Gears of War 2, expected to be shown at the upcoming game shows in January and release this year with at least a year of full exclusivity as well. Gears is just as big a franchise as Halo now...bigger in some respects.

Fair enough, all I'm saying is don't expect this sales trend to continue. The 360's game releases for next year don't look half as good as they did this year and last year. But the PS3's line up looks 10x better than what it had this year. I'll have to see what both consoles are selling like when they both have Killer Apps on the market. Right now the PS3 seems to be holding it's own on pretty much nothing but new IP's and blu-rays.

MGS4, FF13, Infamous, God of War3, GT 5, Killzone 2, Little Big Planet, Home, for 08 vs, Fable lol. Yea the 06, 07 line up was strong for the 360 vs no one. But faced against that line up above, and the fact that they cant sell in east. It dont look good at all.

I didn't bother to read teh wall of text but in reply to your 'vs' for 08 games, Killzone 2 will fail, Home isn't a game and Microsoft has something similar in the works, God of War 3 will be pretty cool but there's been NO news about it, LittleBigPlanet looks dull (to me and many people I know), FF13 - my friend who's been a hardcore FF fan for years isn't even excited for this game (he has hopes but lacks any excitement) GT5...more of the same, unless they do add dmg to the vehicles finally...

Fable 2 isn't the only 08 game. You've failed to mention Ninja Gaiden 2, and if we're making guesses about possible game releases (as you are GoW3) I'm going to say Geow 2, there's also Halo Wars, Lost Odyssey, Alan Wake, Too Human, and Fallout 3.
