No sooner than I started the Game that I finished it about a day later... It's not that long, I'm surprised because Tools of Destruction was a lot longer.

Yeah I beat it like 11 hours. Great game though. My favorite of the 3 I've played.Texas208911 hours sounds about right if you want to fully complete the game, that's longer than most single player games today.

My average completion time of most games story mode is around two days..So games like God of War 3 and Uncharted 1 aren't worth much $60 for me.
I don't see how it was short. If you take time to get all the golden bolts, ryno plans, customizable parts for weapons, and actually upgrade all the wapons, then the game is more like 20 to 30 hours long. I don't understand see where the short part is, unless all you did was complete the main story, Most games are short if all you do is complete the main story. Ratchet and clank was just as long as any other game in its genre. Action adventure games are about 11 to 14 hours so. Things also depend on how many hours a day a person plays. If you are the person that play 6 to 8 hours a day then you will beat about 90% of the games out there within a weekend. The only thing I can tell you is to rent more. I got a crack in time for $40 and it was worth every cent I paid for it.
I want to still get this game. I like the Rachet and Clank seris, I just haven't had the time to get around to buying this one yet
dont bothjer buying its to short to. you should just rent it instead.I want to still get this game. I like the Rachet and Clank seris, I just haven't had the time to get around to buying this one yet

This is how I felt too, took me quite a while to finish the story, collecting everything, is a superb game too and would recommend it for a great buy.

Yeah, but you're supposed to play it again on Challenge mode, and get the RYNO V, and the Titan weapons, and platinum it! Like I did!
It's like 30 bucks now, a steal IMO.

My point exactly. Most action adventure games are just about 11-13 hours. If people actually took the time to at least try to beat the game 100%, then the game wouldn't seem so short. If people actually played games on harder difficulties, they might get more out of it. In Ratchet there is also skill points. If people went for those, then the game would last even longer.
Games will always end up short if people only play through the main story or quest. Not every game can be a western rpg that goes on for 200 hours or more.
It's not that bad considering that the average length of a console game this gen is eight hours or less. And it doesn't take very long to beat the main campaign but they threw in arena challenges, side missions, and some other stuff to add length. Plus, it's the best in the series.
It's the best by far. Even better than UYA and ToD.It's not that bad considering that the average length of a console game this gen is eight hours or less.
