Ok so my ps3 broke so i called them up and everything and they ent me a return box whixh took a week and 1 day but it was UPS's fault and the shipping label they gave me to send it back is UPS next day air which i check cost 122 bucks so thats just amazing casue i remember microsoft and nintendo giving me crap serivce so GO SONY!!!

That's cool they are taking care of you, thanks for posting. It's refreshing to see people post their good experiences as well. I'm kind've like KamuiFei I've personally never had a problem with Sony equipment.

well i own an origanl ps2 and i got it on release date and it still hasnt brok i just dont kno y this was has it just stopped reading disc on the day GTA IV came out:evil:

Sony has always had good PR. I wouldn't know personally though, because any Sony product I ever owned never broke, and that's the best customer service you can get, superior quality :)

Thats why I laugh at the fanboys and their claims towards Sony (not just here, real life people too). Well I say to them, "at least I know it'll turn on" :P

You got that rite the only problem I have ever had with a Sony product was a minor problem with my Bravia TV and when I called tech support they went beyond and above what I expected. The problem was a software glitch and there was a firmware download to fix this minor problem. When the person at the support center told me about the link the first thing he wanted to know was if I had a USB flash drive handy and I told him it may take me a few minutes to find one in which at that point instead of telling me to call back when I found the drive he wanted my correct mailing address and said there would be a update within the next 10 days, it was here the following afternoon.

I've always liked sonys pr. They're helpful and nice i remember when i got a new sound system from sony and plugged it into my ps3 the lady helping me really wanted it to work for me so she stayed on as long as possible till it was working. She was cool!

already. it's getting really old. you can't even talk about the 360 and the ps3 in the same breath, or it turns into this nonsense. i'm getting really tired of it, just enjoy the system you have and shutup. they both have good qualities and bad. go get both of them, and you won't regret it. that way you have the best of both worlds.

I remember once when my ps2 totaly killed my copy of san andreas scratches all over the place what did sony do not only did they fix my ps2 free of charge they also replaced the game this is one of the reasons i stick with sony

I don't know what you intended, but certainly by referring to Microsoft's and Nintendo's service as "crap service" you were in fact trolling, and so the result of having a thread that went off in that direction shouldn't be too surprising. This is precisely why we have strict rules on the console-specific forums that console comparisons are simply not allowed. These rules are accompanied by stiff penalties, including a minimum five-day suspension.

Anyone who wants to do this type of console comparison is free to do it in System Wars, and pretty much nowhere else on the main boards.
