Well i got home and turned on the ps3 to play rainbow six and the strangest thing happened to me. My controller works perfect lifine when im in the xmb and every single button works. But when i press the ps button in the middle, the controller malfunctions. I can scroll down and up but i cannot press x, triangle, circle. or square. I cannot exit out of that screen either and the only way is to reset the ps3 or reset the actual controller. Ive tried restoring my ps3 to defualt settings but it still doesn't work. It was working fine until i put in rainbow. It would not let me press start at the press start menu and so i pressed the ps button to quit the game. I already called sony but they said i have to restore the ps3 all the way but i couldnt get my hand on a flash drive to save my files so ill get one 2morrow. Has this happened to anyone and does anybody know how to fix it? Thanks for your help.
