ok so ive had a psp since 2005, i played it for 2 years then gotta 360 after that my psp somehow got lost somewhere around my house. I found it on saturday in my attic but i was missing the charger. I had just found the charger a few minutes ago, came on internet to get the update. As i was updating it i put it down only to find out that my battery compartment had not closed properly causing the game to shutdown. Thus damaging my psp as it was in the stage of upgrading. And now my psp will turn a green light on but no screen and then it shuts down. Very, very Disheartening. Now i want to know if this could be repaired or if i gotta get a new one

BTW i'm sure it can be repaired. Most things can.

Your PSP is bricked, because it did not finish the upgrade. You can fix it, but here at Gamespot's forums, we aren't allowed to discuss the methods used to fix it.

Wish I could be more helpful, but I don't feel like getting modded right now.

They do tell you to connect the AC adaptor though.
