The green light usually blinks when power loss is iminent. I'm pretty sure that's your only warning. However, usually when you get to this point and the battery cuts, it only puts the psp into sleep mode. So you should be able to charge the psp, and resume from where you left off. Unless you left the psp uncharged for too long.kimbokasteniv
BTW, would you know if this sleep mode is the same as the Windows sleep mode on a laptop? While it's sleeping, I am pretty sure it is still drawing battery power. So if you don't want the game totally lost, you should get to a power point soon?

Yeah, it consumes battery, so you should charge it soon
hook it up to the charger, hit the tab on the side to get it back from sleep mode, and you'll find the game is right where you left itlonesomefolly
the psp will restart at the home menu cuz it turned off due to no battery life, not cuz he/she turned it off himself (or herself, idk) when i first got my psp, i was playing and i accidently pushed up on the switch and i was like, ah man i gotta start over and when i turned it on, it was in the same spot. thinking this was always the case, i played til there was no battery and when it turned off, i just let it charge. when i came back to play, it was at the home menu
