i dont understand why exactly, many games are wrongly hyped. there are games out there that are so overhyped that when i watch a gameplay video of a game that captures my eye but not my gaming feel, there are people saying "OMGZ THIS IS THE CRAZYYIEST SH** EVAHH!"

" definately a must buy." when the game im looking at is spiderman web of shadows or sw: the force unleashed.

huh? :?

the demo for the force unleashed was mediocre at best ( ill try the game for sure but doesnt deserve the hype it gets)

and after playing spiderman 3 i wont be touching a spiderman for a while.

but seriously, some games are so overhyped, but people fail to see past the generic, repetitive game play that the game offers. :|

its weird. anyone else feel the same way?

Play Star Wars:TFU but make the apprentice walk slowly, it adds an awesome effect. But the people who like the games hype it, it doesnt do anything to you if it falls.

Get over it, hype will be around 4 ever. Certain people like certain types of games so they will hype them up, media will hype them up (especially when linked to a movie) But the whole repetitve thing is almost in every game if you really pay attention. I see your point a little bit but its not going to ever end
