wtf!!

I got my PS3 at christmas and its been working great.

Then today it suddenly decided it was going to freeze half the time I play it.

It froze twice when fifa 2008 was loading, to the point where i had to shut down.

Then it froze 2 more times when i was trying to play cod4 offline.

Is anyone else having these problems?

Mine has only frozen on me like 3-4 times. Nothing major though...Although i did lose a disk reader and had to send it in to sony, that sucked.

My 360 was freezing earlier, but thats just because I got a used copy of Splinter Cell: Double Agent lol. Took it back and got a different copy though, and it works fine.

I just went to play unreal tournament 3 and it froze again, while it was loading.

I guess ill email them. Wish me luck. ;)

Assassin's creed:only one tie through my playthrough (did all save the cits and viewpoints) but that was before he update (I didn't have my PS3 hooked up online)

Warhawk-could have been server time out.

Oblivion-this game has been reported to freeze sometimes and besides that, I'm playing a rented/used copy.

nhl 08 makes my ps3 freeze alot

mine froze during the burnout paradise demo when i joined a game and there was 3 people who enetered at same time so as soon as der was 6 ppl in the game it just froze and the limit is 4

Oh yeah.. i forgot to mention i was playing catch with it with one of my friends. The thing is he has hardly any hand eye coordination. ;)

Anyway, it seems like i am the only one with this problem. I think I will wait to see if it gets worse and if it does ill be calling Sony Thank you guys for you input.

My PS3 has frozen a few times now.

It froze twice on the same day last week but my room was roasting hot so i just turned down my heating and opened a window near my PS3 to help ventilate it.

Have a look at your air vent and make sure they are clear of dust and they have got some clear space.

call sony!!...i would.

had my ps3 since release and its only ever froze twice,both time's in oblivion.

since i clocked over 240 hours on oblivion id say that's a pritty good track record;)
