well, i was drinking some water and i choked on it and i had to spit some water out, and some of it hit my PSP..So I turned it on and it started making static noises and the memory stick button was flashing. So I removed the memory stick and it was wet, along with the inside of that slot. I tried cleaning it and i put the memory stick back in. This time when i put it in my PSP frose and it just turned off..I repeatly tried this and it didn't work, infact it dosent even start up now! does anyone know what the problem is?!

(I dont use custom firmware or anything..)

Why do parents buy their children expensive fragile things like a PSP when they do irresposible stuff like drink while playing it? *rolls eyes*

So many threads about oh I dropped it, oh I played it in the shower now it wont work. Seriously guys, wait a few years before playing with this stuff, stick to Lego or something.

Better yet, get a DS Phat, it's probably safer for you.

Consider your PSP GONE!!!

I don't think there is a chance for you to repair it, since there is a short-circuit when you turn the PSP on.

A word of advice: Never expose your PSP to water in the future. If you wanna take a drink, put your PSP down.

I hate to say this, but I think the topic shouldn't be "WTH is wrong with my psp", but it should be "WTH is wrong with me? Am I stupid or what?". That would make you take responsibility of your own actions, and not your innocent PSP.

Congratulations!
