WTH?! Stranglehold is delayed again for the PS3!?

All the way to 29th October?! Wasn't supposed to be out in 26 Sep or something, just "a couple of weeks" after the Xbox360 version? WTF!?

Not that I was getting it, since I don't really care for it and the demo didn't do a lot for me, but this is really getting very annoying. The level of negativity the devolopers are showing to the PS3 is beyond believeble. Is it THAT damn hard to devolop for it? What would really get me further more if it's gonna be another inferior version. What next? CoD4 and Assassins Creed?

I really hope this won't be going more as we get into 08. Seriously, WTF?

I seriously doubt it. We'd be lucky if they're gonna be identical. The only thing that's gonna be better is the inclusion of Hardboiled movie, and that's only in the limited edition cases.

I was not very happy when I heard this game got pushed back not once but three times. First it was pushed to September 26, then to September 29, and now October 26... come on people.

With all these delays, this game better run better and look better than the 360 version or I'm going to be thoroughly pssed. Something better have improved because it would be upsetting if they are just pushing the release date because the game is still not funtioning well on the PS3 (too much slow down, glitches, etc.)

Did EA decide to publish the game for PS3, cause that wouldn't surprise me one bit when it comes to PS3 delays (I pray OrangeBox does alright with their PS3 delay)...

I hear ya man and totally know what you mean. It's like devolopers these days are so used to "easy" Xbox360, they don't wanna challenge themselves with the PS3 and go the extra mile to make better games for it. Going the easy way isn't always better, IMO.

It's true that 3rd party developers just don't know how to bring the PS3 to it potential but it's only the first year after all for the console. Look at 360... no good games until Gears of War came out and then the good games for 360 started to overflow. Same will go for the PS3 once it steps into it's second year. First party developers are doing a good job like Insomniac, Naughty Dog, and a few others. Afew 3rd party developers do give me hope though, like Infinity Ward, Free Radical, people behind Assasins Creed and a few other people.

Stranglehold will have the Hard Boiled movie built inside the game disc when it comes to the collectors edition, which the *******, doesn't have and couldn't have done. Alot of us are looking forward to just that version of the copy and are kinda upset that we get these delays. I guess will just have to come to the approach that 3D realms give us, it'll come out when it's ready. Hopefully we don't have to wait for too long (or anymore delays), I really liked Stranglehold's demo!

Well said and hope what you just said is true. I didn't give up hope for my PS3 and am certain that things will come around for it soon enough. The negativity just gets me, I guess. I wish if these devolopers have the same positive view as us PS3 fans do.

If that's what he meant, I apologize. I merely posted what I said because his sig is Xbox 360 related. I too believe it's a stupid excuse that developers say. Infinity Ward took the time to learn the PS3 and so did a few others. If devs take the time to learn the console, they can make it work out well for them. Hopefully with this delay of Stranglehold means they are improving it because they saw the reviews for it already.

He's saying that people (as in PS3 supporters) will be left using the tired excuse, "Oh well our version stinks because the devs need some more time with the system."
