I am getting smackdown 08 on the release date because I had all the other smackdowns!!

So far most ppl r geting it on tuesday

I pre order my copy last week at ebgames i trade in def jam icon, warhawk cause it sucks but dey leme keep mic, and fight night round 3

I only trade in doze gamez cause dey all suk lol

What sukz bout ps3 one is that you cant use the mic tatz only on 360'zJattDon

ive had it since friday now, i live in uk and its a pretty awesome game, there can be some frame rate issues, and the contols take some getting used to if ure used to old school smackdown vs raw controls. i also love it when ure doing entraaDnce u can click r2 and watch the superstar u are from his own eyes and move his head using motion sensitive.nweezot_

Even though I'm not pleased with this game this year I'll still be getting this since I'm a sucker for wrestling games. I've been buying this game since 2002.

I too have other games to get on the 13-14 like:

• Super Mario Galaxy
• Assissin's Creed
• Resident Evil: UM

same here but this will be the last one i get smackdown games are getting worse ever year

I'm not sure if I'm getting this one. I was disappointed with 2007 and there are a few features MISSING from the PS3 version (like import your own entrance music for example)

Basicly it's pretty much said to be a high res version of 2007. Nothing has changed. I think I'll wait till 2009 when they get it right on PS3. It used to be a solid franchise when they were focused on only 1 system. This is comming from a hardcore WWE fan that bought it every single year from PS1 Smackdown to SVR 2006. There's no way I'm going TNA cause every dev aside from THQ that has made a wrestling game, failed at it. I'm sorry, but I'm frankly sick of pressing Up, Up, Down, Down, X, O, Left, Left, Up, Up, Down, Down just for a freakn' drop kick like in the old days. Anyone that isn't THQ seems to have a habit of implementing that type of system.

Yeah I agree. I don't know why they take a load of it out. Why fix what ain't broken? They add new stuff to areas where it would completely change the entire game, and not really for the better either. Same goes for the voice acting. Remember the old games' storylines can go on forever and never be the exact same? Before voice acting was taking up all the space (and not so great voice acting at that) I've played seasons that went on for an entire decade and have never once repeated itself. Voice acting, you only get 1 year, 1 storyline. Especially having characters going completely out of character. Remember the first SVR?

I think the direction they're taking is completely out of whack.
