Too late I think, they tried to screw gamers, failed, and are not backpedalling furiously... PR NIGHTMARE. They can't get it right. More reasons PS4 gamers won't switch to the Xbox One now Has the DRM change changed your mind?

It's definitely a positive for Microsoft but PS4 is still much better. Better graphics, stronger exclusives, better online service (PS+), and it's $100 less.

It does increase my chances of buying it.... still second though, if at all. The extra $100, plus what I think is a weaker line-up, PS4 looks like the better option. Plus they really needed to hear this many people complain to change? Makes you wonder about their business plan. I hope people rememeber this.

I like the games for ps4. Also being 100 dollars cheaper helps me seal my pick. Also like that I don't hafta be plus member to enjoy my Netflix. I will prolly get a xbox one now though sometime down the road. Definitely think the PR and that guy who said "if you don't have internet then there is always 360" should be fired as well as the head designer guy.

As I said in another thread, I am happy to see them make these changes (even if they are trying to save their own asses), but it won't make me get an Xbox One. PS4 is $100 less (thanks to Kinect being required), is supposed to be a bit more powerful, has a lot of Xbox One's better features, and PS+ sounds a lot better than XBL Gold (especially thanks to Instant Game Collection). Not to mention the fact that, since Xbox One pushed me over to the PS4, I've come to realize just how much more I'll benefit from getting a PS4, thanks to Gaikai's version of backwards compatibility, and the fact that if this past gen is anything to go by, Sony's exclusives are more appealing to me than Microsoft's (even though there are a few good looking games on Xbox One already).

I got rid of my 360 years ago and it was not because of DRM.  Nothing has changed today to make me want a new xbox.

Still like Sony's first party studios more than Microsoft's. So I'm still sticking with PS4 over Xbox One.

If its so bloody easy for them to remove the DRM what's to stop MS from implementing it again in the near future?Still the 100$ price difference is all people need to decide their choice of purchase.

we don't really know if the source is official, there's no precise explanation of how it'll work - is it just "no restriction" or did the way it work just change subtly? does it prevent Microsoft from changng back?

this is just a company that always lied to the customer and used them as toilet paper trying to make things even more confusing to get some undserved money

I am slightly adamant If Microsoft are announcing that all of these features are now not going to be implemented, then why didn't they just say that from the beginning instead of going through this nightmare?

Agreed....my mind was made up to get the PS4 but eventually I was gonna get a XB1 eventually....now it increases my chances of getting it alot sooner then I planned, it still won't be for a few years though.

MS is a company of greedy jerks. They were successful with 360 and look how far they went with the x1 because their heads got so darn big!

That company needs to stay a distance behind Sony each gen or the gaming world is in jeopardy.

Nope. Sticking with a PS4 (maybe a Wii U down the road when it's under $200). I'm concerned Microsoft will do another 180 and change down the road. Also, they don't support their platforms with software towards the end of their cycles. Furthermore, I expect there to be some reliability issues with the X1. Lastly, Sony seems to have found their mojo, and if they do really sell well--then I expect to see some great PS2-era software and content.

another huge plus on the ps4, at least for me, is being able to play ps4 games remotely on the vita. If this feature is implemented right that would be amazing.

For instance last night I was playing the last of us for hours on the couch and just getting really uncomfortable, was thinking how awesome it would be to just lay in bed and play for awhile...my wish will be reality come november!
