I read on one of the posts about the new update that the PS3 now supports usb cameras other than eyetoy. I thought why not try the Vision cam I already own, and sure enough it works. Yeah I know the vision cam is just a usb cam like others you buy for the pc, but you never know what MS will do to keep their stuff proprietary. Just thought I would pass this info along for those who own the Vision cam.
how is the picture from it? i use it on my computer (without the 360 drivers as they don't work) and it works nicely did you try the eyetoy as well? which was better?
awesome, now i'll probably just buy the xbox vision cam and it'll work on both... so do you think sony came out with the usb camera drivers(firmware update) so we can use a usb camera to put our faces on games... rainbow six anyone?

Something tells me that R6:Vegas will not have the face mapping support due to this update coming out less than a month before the ps3 version of the game is released. It is possible though.
