personally, i don't need wifi, i have a router in my room, and i don't need high definition for an extra 100 bucks to watch my movies, and i never have.  plus, the extra money you pay for xbox live gives you streamlined service, for the marketplace and customer service.

lol....but why did MS come out with the elite...??? Is that thier way of saying that sony was right?

Who WOULD want HDDVD, since it's going the way of the dodo....and if you don't want wifi don't get it, i prefer not having to run an extra cable to everything i own. in any sense you want to discuss 360 is a big joke anyway, the elite is now the second time microsoft has told all of it's customers to F off, seeing as they only announced it a month in advance and anyone who bought a 360 up to that point is SOL, mismatched colour larger hard drive, no set in stone plan for data transfer.
