Plz I want you guys to test something for me. I want to know if it's my HDTV or not.

Now in mid august the XMB background color is turning from blue to a purple color or whatever that is. Anyway what I want you guys to do for me is quite simple. Could you plz turn up the brightness of your HDTV to it's limit? mine is 100. if yours is from 0 to 10. put it on 10. I want you to turn it up to the limit when it's morning because the problem only appears with the colored background! If you see different kind of layers plz tell me. If it stills the way it is but just brighter than tell me. Thanks.

Basically all I want you to do: when it's morning and the XMB background is purple and not black colored, I want you to turn your HDTV brightness up to it's limit and tell me if you notice graphical issues, layers of different purple colors!

Thanks.

I ain't talking about how the XMB changes color during the course of the day. I am talking about issues with the layers of colors I see when I turn my HDTV brightness setting up to its limit! Try it yourself and tell me if you see the same color with different layers that are annoying! Turn up your TV brightness up to its limit and tell me if you notice something! plz. Do it during the daylight when the XMB color is orange or whatever color it is.

I want you to test something for me. I done it and I want to see if all HDTV are the same. memorize your current brightness setting and turn it up to its limit and tell me what you notice. If it's just brighter then fine tell me it's brighter but if you notice something else plz be kind and tell. it takes 30 secs I promise you and you have my words on it!

damn yo whats wrong with you people. He wants to know if its an issue with his tv or if its just the way the system is outputting the colors so if we have the same problem it would be the latter. Its 5:48PM over here in Ontario so i dont know how much help id be at the moment but ill check for you.

att 100% i get a really light colour at the bottom and then a dark shade at the top. It gradually changes fro bottom to the top. Not layers like you are describing.

You don't see wavy colors? I mean for instance a red color then a lighter red color then a much lighter red color next to each others. just like waves. Is it just plain?

And would you tell me plz what settings your TV are set on? Brightness, sharpness, colors, contrast and do you have RGB Full or Limit?

I had to adjust the brightness for R6V and when I quit the game I started to notice the colors problems! These aren't visible when the brightness is toned down but I really want someone to tell me if he notices something when he tones up his TV brightness to its limit! Thanks.
