Yakuza 3 may be heading to North America.

Today I was reading a post on the PS Blog regarding Valkyria Chronicles 2 for PSP. It just so happened that Aaron Webber, the Assistant Community Manager from Sega of America was answering questions from the readers. One of the questions was about Yakuza 3 coming to US.

UNCyrus – let me brighten your day first off by confirming something big:

Yakuza 3 is not cancelled – and the possibility for localizing it does, in fact, still exist.

The original news story that went around about Yakuza 3 being declined for the US was false, and localizing the game still remains a big point of discussion for many people here at SEGA, and especially those of us on SEGA's community team.I know it's far from an announcement, but I just felt you should know that the chance does still exist.

Just kind of curious if anyone whose played feels like its more polished and less buggy then the first two?

Also is the combat more fleshed out or is it more of basically doing the same combo over and over to beat the game?

I really wanted to like Yakuza but I just couldnt get into it. I felt like the story and the setting with a really polished game could be the goods.

So many good news, rumors and games. SO4 International, game flood on Oct. and now Yakuza 3. This will boost my morale at work. Thanks for the info man. Gotta love my ps3 more.

I hope this is true, it's pretty nice at how many people want this localized.
