I was going to get it even with the strange release date but now with Sega cutting content, i won't be getting it.
You can buy it for me. But i am not going to spend my money on that broken game. And really if the 4 one is not in NA you can order it and it will work here. Just need to know enoguh japanese to be able to change it back to English settings.

Playing it and looking for translations is not fun at all. If you understand japanese, then that is no problem. You could have already imported the game long time ago.
I already have my copy reserved and payed for buddy!! I hope the west side release the 4th!!! SQUEE!!!Please buy the game if you liked the demo or are interested in the game.

I don't have a lot of enthusiasm for it right now. It's being released in an intensely crowded three week period, and they cut content for the absolute worst reason they possibly could have cut content from this game, "because it wouldn't resonate with western gamers". (Hello McFly!!??!? It's an all Japanese audio game about the Japanese mafia! I mean, duh?) That's an attitude Sega was supposed to have dropped back when Bernie Stolar left. It's not what was cut that pissed me off, but why it was cut. Right now, it's looking like I'll pass. The reviews will have to be absolutely fantastic for me to overcome my distaste over this situation, I mean really stellar.SteveTabernacleYou'd figure they would label us "used to it" by now since the gaming market has been dominated by everything "Japanese" since the 8-bit era. I don't know why people can't just leave things alone.
I'll be getting it, I just don't know when. I'm still having a blast with Demon's Souls and I still need to get No More Heroes 2 and Heavy Rain.
Honestly, this game is not being released at the best time. I don't why they couldn't have delayed the release a bit. Summer is always wide open and then they could have included the bits that are being cut.
Sega didn't want to put anymore money into the localization, it wouldn't have mattered, i'd rather a slightly altered experience then never getting to play it at all..I'll be getting it, I just don't know when. I'm still having a blast with Demon's Souls and I still need to get No More Heroes 2 and Heavy Rain.

Yea, a new shenmue would be awesome too.
I'm surprised to see Yakuza 3, number 23rd on preorder charts.

23. Yakuza 3 23,428
Yakuza 3 is in 23rd place. Hopefully most of those preorders will not be cancelled.
lol..the name makes the game the worst ever. I heard the name and instantly thought..fail!I thought it was one of the worst demo's I have ever played in my life. No sale from me.

i'm tired of the future of a gaming developer or the developing of future franchises resting on my shoulders. at least, that's what developers try to make me feel. if they develop a great game, i'll buy; however, i was really surprised that the demo wasn't all that great...
The demo felt remarkably disjointed and broken. Not with Shenmue and Heavy Rain would I ever need a game like Yakuza. I wanted to like it because I love the aforementioned and I love MMA but it did NOTHING for me.
I was going to buy it on the day of it's release but now that Sega is cutting content i'll probably wait for the price to drop.
Please buy the game if you liked the demo or are interested in the game.

When I first read the title I thought you worked Sega or something. It's decent but it's not a purchase for me. I didn't like how the character spoke in text boxes. They should have their own voice.
