Yakuza 4 is actually...

A very good game you wouldnt know this from the demo but it is a fantastic game. Its like a bad ass japanese film and game rolled into one. If you were thinking about picking this game up i highly recommend it. Its a very big game too so its got bang for the buck going for it.

Is there any changes? I am like about 5 hours in Yakuza 3 at the moment and its pretty good

Yakuza 4 seems like an OK and I might borough that off my friend but I'm just going to wait until GS reviews this game.

P.S. Why havent they?

Just bought it today. Can't wait to play it.

Really? Is it a lot like Yakuza 3, cause I didnt like the beat em up combat, just not my thing. And the gameplay and character movement just seemed clunky and awkward to me, looked very dated.

I've been playing for awhile now and I'm loving it. Of course I expected that because I'm a big fan of the series. I have already played around 20 hours and barely touched the main story.

It's definitely worth the money especially if you can get it from Bestbuy where it's on sale for 39.99. Great price for what you get with this game.

What didn't you like about it compared to the others? I really enjoyed 3. The revelations have been a great addition to the series. For me 1 is the worst, but mostly because of the english voice work. It was horrid.

I also agree Yakuza 3 did not get my attention like part 1 and 2 did, thanks god they did a good job on part 4.

I'm a huge fan yet i still haven't got Yakuza 4... top of my list so far of must have games to get :)

The same goes for motorstorm 3.

I heard Yakuza 4 is more like Yakuza 3.5. Not very many changes to combat. I absolutely loved Yakuza 3. I guess it does seem outdatedconcerning the gameplay.I'll pick this one up when the price drops significantly.

In terms of story, Yakuza 3 was the weakest, imo. It had a very slow start and didn't get interesting until halfway. Gameplay was the best though (not counting Y4 of course.) Yakuza 1 had one epic story.

A lot of fans of the series seem to feel that way. I thought it was really good. I wouldn't call it the best as the above poster did though. Yakuza 1 story was great, but the english voices just didn't allow to feel as connected to the story and setting like the others. It just didn't feel as authentic.

Either way Yakuza is a great series and to anyone riding the fence on this game, I highly suggest going to bestbuy and getting for $40. At the price you are definitely getting your money's worth.

Yakuza 3 was the only game in the series I played and I really enjoyed it. I'll be getting 4 soon. Best Buy has it on sale for $39.99
