I'm first year computer science. My real love is music, though, and i may be switching schools to major in that.
The LSU music department seems to have this thing against guitar players. When i walked in to the office of music in a Metallica t-shirt, they practicaly laughed in my face.
My friends parents are like that. He told his mom he was gonna buy a 360 and she didn't approve of it because of school, but he bought it anyway lol. My parents tell me that it's my money and I can spend it on whatever I want. I'm in college also, but I have financial aid cause money is tight in my household, so as long as I get good grades, the school will pay for everything.

Well, my parents have the attitude of, "why should we help you out for college if you won't even try to do it on your own without us?" I mean, i agree with there sentiments, but i just couldn't live without my Wii or my ps3. :P

Well, i'd be switching majors not so much because comp sci is hard, but because i'd much rather be in music.
ya i know what you meant, comp sci is usally just not what ppl expect it to be I also agree with my parents, but with out my video games i would actully end up spending just as much money drinking, and drinking destroys my body, so i think im choosing the lessser of two evils.

i know what im going to do, a while back i sold my WoW acount for 400 bucks, ill tell them i got 600 for it and got a ps3 with it. that should work..... in therory
That sounds good. That's what i do with most of my purchases. I make up some strange reason as to how i suddenly came into just enough money to buy it without having to dip into what i already had. ;)
