YELLOW LIGHT oF DEATH!!!!!

Alright, i got the yellow light of death. Whenever i turn my ps3 on, the little green light comes on then it turns into a yellow light and beeps three times, then turns into a blinking red light. How do i fix this?

^ whatever he said... call sony thats about it.. unless you send it to someone who know how to fix this problems.. still going to cost you both ways unless you got warranty on your ps3

I had the YLOD back in august but if you send it to sony its not so bad you get it back in two weeks even if you have to pay or not.

The only thingI have heard of that fixes the YLOD sometimes is changing the hardrive but that only works sometimes, the YLOD is caused from overheating and or faulty hardrive so if your system over heated your screwed.

It only happens to the 60 gb or the 40 gb like mine
