yep ps3 will recover

doom for wii and doom for 360. the nintendo wii and xbox 360 will not win the console wars mainly because of 2 things which is that:

1. the ps3 in 2010 i bet will be much cheaper than now and may eventually be the price the wii or xbox 360 is today

2. if the ps3 comes to the price point the xbox 360 and wii are today the wii and 360 also can't continue reducing their prices forever. and since the ps3 is much powerful than both of those consumer demand will start turning to the ps3

3. the wii and xbox 360's technology won't alow them to have a leghnthliy life span (not more than 7 years)

4. wii is just selling alot because of the very high consumer demand, that will drop in a couple of years. the ps3 is building up consumer demand slowly (i don't mean increasing sales, just consumer demand).

5. the ps3 once it outpasses the sales of the xbox 360 or wii there is no comeback. the ps3 will gain i predict alot of exclusive because if the ps3 sells more the developers will start investing there resources in higher end technology like the ps3. there can also be multiplatform games but yes the resources more resources maybe invested in the ps3.

6. yes despite worse graphichs and lower technology the ps2 did outsell the xbox 1 and gamecube put together, mainly because the xbox 1 came too late in the console war between ps2 and gamecube, but still the xbox 1 was able to outsell the gamecube which can show that the fun of the gamecube was part of its destruction, it had good games but the graphics didn't match those of the ps2 or xbox which shows that the concept that gameplay rules over graphics is **** if this applied to the gamecube it also may apply to the wii.

7. i come to a conclusion that not just the ps3 but also the xbox 360 will outsell the wii.

these are ideas from my brain not fact. i can never guarantee this will happen. i'm kjust showing u ps3 fans how i think things are gonna be for the ps3. this is not console wars

Wow, I disagree with a lot of your points but agree with the overall conclusion that the PS3 will gain some traction and start selling.

To the poster directly above me, If your saying that gameplay is more important then graphics then hey I fully agree that's how I feel also but let's face it, allot of people wana play games that look good graphics wise no?

You can't so that's not true I know many people that will get something that looks better over something that plays better just as true for gaming as it is for the rest of life :P.

I'm guessing that, as with the last generation of consoles, all three are just going to stick around. Yes, the PS3 is going to come around, and maybe even out sell both the Wii and 360, too, but that doesn't mean the 360 and Wii are going to go away. Yes, the PS3 will probably have games that look a bit nicer, but that's not going to make people drop their 360's. That's evidenced by the Wii. People didn't buy it for the graphics (obviously). They bought it for gameplay. I don't know where you came up with your point about graphics being more important than gameplay. Nobody would have bought the Wii in the first place, if that werethe case. I still play a ton of my PS2 games and even some classic arcade games even though I have a PS3 and a few of the most graphically powerful games currently availablefor it. Good evidence is PS2 vs Xbox. Xbox was much more powerful but software line sucked big big BIG time compared to PS2

what i find sad is that u were trying to support the PS3 in the PS3 forums and still got shot down by everyone
