world wise i'D say FFtactics and ff12 for Ivalice and its crazy political schemes.
leveling system wise i'd say ff9, because each character as a unique set of abilities and gives you a reason to keep your equipment after you get something better, on a tie with fftactics for the character customization value.
battle system i'd say ff10 - 2 because having no character reserve makes less character level differences like having 3 characters level 40 and 3 level 70.
story wise i tie between fftactics, for the political schemes and main character that gets dragged in to a crude reality of war, and ff7 for 1 of the most amazing amnesic character concept.
minigame wise. ff8 cardgame was 1 of the few i like (tied with the one from xenasaga episode 1). ff10-2 offered some great games, the chocobo minigame in ff9 was also a winner. Blitzball could have been fun if the computer would have concided the game when you lead 10-0 in the first round (sad). blitzball in ff10-2 was better balanced but was more oriented toward team administration.Â
overall winners is fftactics closely followed by ff9 and on third place tie between ff10 and ff10-2.Â
