Your Favorite MGS Characters, why? Which Game in the series?

We are all excited about MGS4, Im so excited im buying my first PS3 ever just for it. I made this post not only for all of your opinions but also a problem I have with Snake and Raiden.

See, the MGS experience started for me with Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. My lack of knowledge of the characters I guess triggered my Favorite character as raiden. He IS MY FAVORITE CHARACTER EVER in the MGS world. Once my friends found out about it they laughed at me saying raiden is alittle ***** and snake is the best, the man.

I Really like Raiden for his style and noob tactics compared to Snake. Im afraid of what his future will be like in MGS 4 with the super ninja cyber suit.

I hope everone wont be like "oh Raiden is so cool now!"

anywayz, enough of the nerd talk. Who is your favorite character in the time line and why. I hope everyone enjoys MGS4 on release, peace

anyway my favorite character is : gray fox from MGS1 i like this guy moves and fighting style... his story and his part of the story in MGS will just make you love him ( BTW he is a ninja just like raiden in MGS4 a cyborg ninja )

i like gray and also vamp im sure you know him from MGS2

Favorite Character- Guard who wonders whats in the box

Why-Because he will never live to tell it.

Serioiusly my favorite is Naked Snake because he has had his *** beaten down so badly and still being able to kick everyones ***. I mean he was shot in the eye, broke his arm like twice, got shot with poisonous darts, attacked by hornets,Lit on fire (+The hundreds of times thats happened becuase of my control) and still destroyed the Shagohod killed Volgin and the boss.

Worst Character=Raiden because he blows hard ***

Well, besides the obivous one SNAKE!.... I would have to go with Revolver Ocelot. He always seems to be the one controlling everything. I hope its not just liquid now that controls his body in MGS4.

Big Boss, Snake is just a poser and Liquid is cool, but his daddy can kick his ass anytime. He comes 2nd though.

Psycho Mantis, and The ninja guy from MGS1 I cant remember his name right now, but he was awesome and my favorite boss battle at the time.julianwelton

well, not including snake, i actually did like raiden (his only downside was his look) and big boss. but uh number 1

SOLIDUS SNAKE - that guy has the craziest life story almost ever made up. fought in african wars, raised a child army, was clone of big boss, became a president, all the stuff to do with shadow moses, and started the sons of liberty. and he had that sweet super suit

I felt bad about hurting him in MGS3 when he just made friends with me...

i can not believe TC prefers Raiden....anyways I love snake hes a effin bad ass to the core.

Sniper wolf comes close in second.

vamp, big boss, ocelot, and psycho mantis are sick but the man himself that is coming back in a wheelchair (snake) is my favorite character of the mgs series....(wow can't wait to see what other characters hideo kojima has up his sleeve for his future titles)

My favourite would have to be gray fox from MGS1

And like so many other people my least favourite is Raiden I wish Snake blew his brains out in the final cutscene of MGS2 so I don't have to see him again in MGS4

solid snake ofcourse but next i wished they kept liquid snake instead of having a liquid/ocelot "combo"

but then it would be 1 vs 2 enemies

would have been geat if it came down to just solid vs liquid!

Johnny Sasaski is great even if he does suffer from IBS.

Liquid Snake is also super cool- i wish they hd kept his voice actor for this game, but im sure the Ocelot dude will do his best.

But, of course, my fav character of mgs has to be SNAKE! Cause he has the best haircut ever. :P

Hands down, Gray Fox....

Gray fox is the ultimate definition of the perfect and ultimate soldier. He lived, he fought, he died... Without question.

1) Naked Snake/ Big Boss - He proved to be the best soldier ever in MGS3 and MGS: PO

2) Gray Fox/ Null / Frank Jaeger - His story and tactics are superb, I would love to see a PS3 game with him as the protagonist

3) The End - He's my favorite old guy from any game

4) The Boss - She was awesome in every possible way

5) Ocelot - He seems to manipulate everything

6) Liquid Snake - When you manipulate someone through your hand you just have to be a bad***

MGS is full with great characters , I didn't think Raiden was that bad though, using the sword with him was awesome

I can't pick. My top 5 are:

1. Big Boss

2. Gray Fox

3. Vamp

4. Solid Snake

5. Ocelot
