So with the PS4 now announced, what has been your best PS3 game till now? I know there's still the Last of Us and GTA V to come, but it'd be interesting to know your favourite game since the PS3s introduction. Mine is MGS4.
Among Thieves. While it's not the greatest testament to gameplay, the narrative is completely captivating. Right from the get go I felt it was going to be special.

Exclusive? Definitely Infamous or Killzone 2. There's a lot for multiplat like Red Dead Redemption, Mass Effect 2, Bioshock, Just Cause 2, Dishonored, Mafia 2, The Walking Dead, Batman Arkham Games, etc.
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots Cant wait to get my own Playstation 3 when I get my taxes back. Its been years since Ive played MGS 1 through 3, so Im going to get all of them. Plus, obviously, MGS4 and Rising. On a side note, does Ground Zeroes have you play as Snake or Big Boss? Just curious.
This is a pretty difficult question, but I would have to say MGS4 as well. It may not have been everyone, but it had everything for me. It expanded on a story with characters that I care about and with gameplay that I love.
1. Metal Gear Solid 4 Epic story. Epic gameplay. Probably the best game ever made. At least the best story. 2. Skate 3 Best skateboarding game out there. The realism is just so addicting, you can just jump on your skate and hit any spot you like. Not like Tony Hawk, which is completely unrealistic, just all about points, this game actually knows something about skateboarding. 3. DMC: Devil May Cry Probably the best Hack n' Slash game ever made. Dante is a very likeable character and the smoothness of gameplay is just stunning. Soundtrack really makes you feel like you're in real hardcore action. 4. Infamous Infamous has probably the best twist of any game stories I've ever played. The gameplay itself is very cool, jumping all around the roofs and fighting is fun and addicting. 5. GTA IV GTA IV is probably at the moment the best sandbox game out there, allthough it might get frustrating at some points. 6. NHL/Fifa 13 Guess there's no need to explain these two, if you like this kind of sport games, you'll love these. 7. Call of Duty: Black Ops II For me this is the best FPS game I've played. The multiplayer is very addicting and the single player is great fun. 8. Uncharted Very nicely done adventure/action game. Voice acting is fantastic, story is good and gameplay smooth and nice. 9. Mafia II The best mafia game out there. Comes very close or to the same level with GTA IV as a sandbox game. Just a little too short. 10. Max Payne 3 Coolest gun fights ever, one oft he best action games ever made.
Best game overall: Easily Batman Arkham City. It's the only game I feel comfortable giving a 10/10 score this past generation. It's a modern day Ocarina of Time. A masterpiece
Best Sony developed game: inFAMOUS 1 and 2. I love the concept of this series to death and the gameplay is absolute bliss for me. It's just fun and the story is very original and engaging as well.

Exclusives? Mine go in this order: MGS4, InFamous, Valkyria Chronicles, Demon's Souls, Killzone 2. Multiplats? Killzone 2 would get bumped out by Red Dead Redemption, which would fall just after InFamous.
Edit: Actually, Killzone 2 would have already been bumped out by Heavy Rain. I forgot about that one.Â
Skyrim, the game sucked me in for months and I still want to jump back into it because I have so much to do.. the only thing stopping me is i want to get more of my backlog taken care of before the PS4 comes outj.
I'm still waiting for it. The games of this gen have been a bit underwhelming for me. They just don't hold my attention for long enough, and with the obscene amount of shooters thats come out.
I've just dug out my PS2, to play some decent FF games.
Definitely the Uncharted series and Heavy Rain. I loved the new direction Quantic Dream took with Heavy Rain and it really payed off for them in the end, the game was so beautiful and emotional i hope next-gen brings many more gems like this one.
