Mine would easily be Battlefield: Bad Company's demo. It gave an awesome slice of the single player and a perfect slice of the multiplayer. Just enough to get you hook and want to buy the game.
Burnout Paradise had an epic demo. It was literally (ish) a slice of the full game, you could cruise around that section of Paradise for as long as you wanted :P
I'm addicted to Fat Princess... JUST THE DEMO!!! The 32 player online demo is entertainment for hours til you master all the classes. Now I want to buy the game for the other 7 maps + game play modes.
Tough one. I really liked the demos for inFamous, Batman, NGS2, God of War III, and Bayonetta. Batman was the only one that actually sold me on a game so far. The other 4 I already knew I was getting. Bayonetta is only one I actually played more than once though, but that's probably more because the game isn't out yet. Its between Batman and Bayonetta but I'll say Bayonetta just because its so fun I had to play it again a few times (and even played the 360 demo a few times too). Can't wait for the real thing.
skate demo back in the day was awesome. off the top of my head, Burnout and InFamous convinced me to buy. One of these days, a Star Wars Battlefront III Demo will be my favorite. if only
Batman was amazing fun after being disappointed with the Gamestop challenge room demo. By far my favorite demo. I played the Killzone 2 demo twice. Going to play the Heavenly Sword demo again tomorrow.
Infamous was the most comprehensive demo ive ever played. It gave you a taste of being both good and evil and just about every power that takes a long time in the game to actually get. I played the batman demo several times over as well. One demo i dont think im ever going to get rid of is GT5 since i dont think you can even download it anymore, atleast until the game actually comes out.
Most recently? God Of War III demo. Just got it / played it today. I have never played a GOW game before (getting the Collection though). Delightfully brutal:twisted: I'll probably replay it again in a few (already played twice).
All time though? I was already interested, but the Batman: Arkham Asylum demo sold me for sure. That game was AWESOME. The Killzone 2 was rad, as was the inFamous demo. Come to think of it, MOST demos for PS3 exclusives are REALLY good. The Uncharted 2 MP demo was excellent and probably offered more than any other demo on the PSN. Didn't play the Fat Princess or LittleBigPlanet demo (had the games before the demos came out :P), although I may just check them out to see how well they represent the games. The Bioshock demo was great (still on my PS3 and I REALLY need to buy it). The 2 Ratchet and Clank: A Crack In Time demos that came out recently were also very fun.
Here's to hoping there are demos for Assassin's Creed 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
