Your Game?

Okay so heres the deal, your given a whole games studio, a 40 Billion dollar budget and the freedom to make any game you like.

So what would you make? What game have you always dreamed of?

I've always wanted a game where the object of the game is to just wreck as much stuff as possible, Itd have super realistic physics and graphics, you would start off in a room with basic household objects, then you'd move on to the whole house, then neighbourhood and by the end of the game your in New York blowing the sh*t out of stuff ;D

Anybody got any good ideas?

It would probably be a space combat/trading game, but you'd actually be able to land on the planets yourself. Each inhabitable planet would have multiple major cities where you would be able to land. The planets that had not been colonized could have robotic miners harvesting materials that you could take with you.

There would be several planets in each galaxy that you could land on and several galaxies to visit. Travel would be based around wormholes and would be very quick. You would also be able to customize your ship with unique parts with the basics characteristics of physics as the qualifier for each unique part with several basic rules.

The ship would always have to be fully enclosed with a shell of a certain strength strong enough to withstand the intense pressure and heat. You would be able to able basic energy characteristics like tension, heat, cold, movement speed, mass, etc. so that you could design your own propulsion system and make weapons if you wanted. The game would try to be as realistic as possible though, as in no beams of lasers shooting across space, gravity in relation to mass, etc.

since some of my favourite "universes" are the universe of warcraft (3) and the greek universe (including mythology and gods) i think it would be arround there.. involving an hero (this is resembling to god of war.. but it'd be different, somehow.)

i also liked the realistic game that the last comment introduced about space and ship and etc.. but i wouldnt like it just SOOOOOOO detailed and technique that you would have to spend hours and hours deciding materials parts and etc to put on the ship.. but yes a huge customization would be cool..

well.. since i am a big fan of animes.. and every anime game sucks (naruto ultimate ninja storm is my only hope.. xD) i might do something about that too.. for fullmetal alchemist, one piece, code geass (my second favourite but i think a game about it wouldnt work.. =S) and soul eater..

games including a huge world to explore and just not empty.. a huge world filled with stuff.. that really excites me. oh well.. so many ideas i would have.. but im more of the playing kind, not the creating.. x)

a hack and slash that is part dark alliance part god of war (i know too human, but using the stick to attack is lame)

i'd also make a lord of the rings game based on the 3 movies that is mega super awesome

im also a huge fan of lord of the rings but i got satisfied with their battle for middle earth.. i think that game was enough to give lord of the rings a great gaming experience. as for dbz.. i also agree... with some new/custom character.. exploring and stuff.. would be great.

I would make a game based off the Ranger's Apprentice book series.

So you get a bit into the game and learn knife throwing, archery, camoflouge and unarmed fighting. Then you have to do some missions like a boar hunt and hunting the Kalkara assassins. It would be sorta like Assassin's Creed with the knives, but you would get to aim it like in Uncharted. Same as the bow.

And you can switch characters and some levels take you to a Battleschool and you can be a trainee named Horace.

An RPG/ Stealth set in a huge modern high-tech prison.

Taking the guild elements from games like Oblivion (differents gangs in the prison )

And also taking all gameplay elements from "Prisoner of War"

I noticed that a game that is a little like that is the upcoming game I Am Alive. a couple of scenarios from the e3 trailer is very much alike :D

back when i was younger i had the best idea for a game ever(in my opinion) and i still have this idea to date

Its kinda a fusion of Devil May Cry, Legend of Zelda and Ninja Gaiden. i dont have a name for it yet.

The plot is that a long time ago the Serpent King Orochi was sealed away by a warriors names Ryu Kenjin. now he has escaped to wreak havok upon the world. It takes place in the year 1655 in the orient(japan to be exact). The protagonist is Keiji the Deamon Slayer and is a decendent of Ryu. Blah blah blah basically he ventures out to desroy Orochi's deamons and the Serpent king himself.

The gameplay is an adventure with several dungeons like Zelda, u gain new weapons at the shop and get sword upgrades. U can raise ur charcters stats at the shop as well.

LOl im not considering being a game creator.. so i HOPE people hear my ideas and make good games from them! that would be amazing..!! lol.

I am a big history buff and I have always wanted to see a good WW1 game. I know trench warfare is not necessarily the most interesting of battle types. But WW1 saw the invention of tanks and machine guns so there is some potential. Plus being Canadian I want to fight at Vimy Ridge. And accomplish the feat that no one said could be done and take Vimy Ridge back from the Germans. I think with a budget like you've suggested I could make the game a huge hit. I mean let's shoot some Germans that aren't Nazi's for once...:PDankodefense

What about a history game where you take the NAZI perspective, or be a soviet spy or, a game on a cold war that wasn't that cold? Or a non crap version of turning point fall of lib. I think a historically accurate game on the 300 war, would be sick.

The Collapse of fuel on earth has triggered a starting point which could escalate to another world war. Nations are already having tensions about obtaining the remaining amount of fuel on Earth, and the government for different nations are starting to get really greedy. You play as a special ops sent by the UN to assasinate corrupt figures of the governemnt to prevent the start of another world war. However as game play progresses country A which is probably a country with a lot of power starts attacking tons of countries, laying waste to them. You are sent in with a bunch of countries to stop Country A from completely obliterating other nations. Then theres this big fight on epic proportions with tanks, infantry, mechs, laser guns, chain saws, light sabres, helicopters, jeeps and all that jazz.

well my LoTR would have battles similar to the games based off of the trilogy, but i want an adventure part where you can explore, and i'd like some stealth missions where you play as the hobbits and have to hide from ring wraiths and this game would have the best graphics ever. (for its time)

as for DBZ it would have budokai 3s game play with some tweaks (each character has unique dragon rushes, characters take damage , chargeable attacks), more characters, stages, costumes, graphics more like naruto ultimate ninja storm (burst limit was too shiny imo) and cutscenes similar to budokai 1 but with budokai 3s over world.

wow, you all have some interesting ideas. i would just make a very realistic ww2 game with picture perfect graphics where you get to play every battle.

sounds pretty generic i know considering all the ww2 games out there.
