i just had to let every one know i called my local game stop today and they said they have this new deal for old model ps3s and in my case where i bought a refurbished 40 gig model that has a blown out hdmi port after only 3 months..(and everyone knows ps3 without hdmi is a no go) im very excited and will be doing this 2morow. so if your interested contact your local gametop see if there offering this great deal.

man they can suck it.. i bought thatps3 from gamestop its not an option for them not to take it. 3 months and its already messed up screw

I'm thinking about doing it. I mean, the Slim's hardware is more stable isn't it? The Phat is prettier bud I'd rather pay $50 for a new slim than $150 when mine dies.

Wow! I have an old 60 gig laying around that is gathering dust since I got my new slim. I'll probably take them up on that offer.
