I'm getting a ps3 tomorrow finally and I would just like your opinion about which games I should start with. I think I'll get Assasin's Creed for sure but i want to get other 2. COD4? unreal??elder scrolls????FIFA or NHL for sports??? what do you think???
I strongly recommend Call of Duty 4, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Oblivion/Assassin's Creed/Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction. You'll enjoy your PS3. I guarantee it.
Get uncharted, number one on your list. Best game ive played in a very very long time. the graphics, the acting, the story, the gunplay, the twists. I also recommend resisitance(great classic, never gets old!), call of duty 4, and ratchet or orange box

It feels like you are playing an excellent action movie. You name it, this game gives it in spades. Get Uncharted and Ratchet for starters. If you have extra $$$ get Resistance & Assassin's Creed.
I would say Ratchet and Clank is great game to start off with. The game utilizes most of the controller and there is a nice mix analog and sixaxis gameplay you get a feel of how that works, plus its really just a great game, fun and funny!
I would go with Ratchet & Clank, Oblivion, or Resistance, all fantastic games. I just started Assassin's Creed so I can't really comment and I haven't gotten around to Uncharted.....YET!
If you have the time and the patience get Oblivion. COD4 is a great game to get too especially since multiplayer will last you a long time if youre competitive. Uncharted is a great buy if you plan on playing it multiple times to get the treasures. Personally, I rented it and beat it in ill guess 10 hours, and then I was done with it. Nevertheless, its still one of the best PS3 games I have played to date as well but it only takes one run to get the full concept of the amazing story.
I would definately start off your collection with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - those were my three favorite games of 2007.
I would definetly recommend getting Uncharted, CoD4, UT3 and warhawk. I got my PS3 very recently and those are the games i have and i never get bored of any of those games. all are great.
I just got my PS3 for Christmas and I have really enjoyed COD4, Unchated and MKII (great deal for 5 bucks) and if you like Spider Man, 3 is a steal for the price.
ut3, halo 3, assassins creed, uncharted, warhawk ( okay mic included we need more mic owners), ninja gaiden (if you haven't played before get it), guitar hero rock band, gears of war, god of war, super mario bros 3
Get Warhawk, COD4 and The Orange Box. They all rock online and the two with single players are great and worth it just for that I think and each has its own unique gameplay. These will give you the most replayability. Any good sports game will do the same.
Uncharted, Resistance, COD4, Warhawk, Ratchet to start. Uncharted first, don't get asassin's creed unless you plan on playing it in small bursts. The extremely repetitive game design will kill it in an extended play session.
