Your opinion on Eternal Sonata

I have been hearing a lot of good things about this game but I still have my doubts. I am about to try the demo right now but I was wondering if anyone who has played it could give me their opinion on whether its worth the 50 bucks or not.

I just got finished with Oblivion, and to be honest I think I am going to have a hard time finding a RPG that matches up to it. So, would Eternal Sonata be a fair match? If not, are there any other great RPG's I'm missing out on?

Lol that probably would be a turn-off for me. It would all depend on how fun the game actually is.

For example, Beat (the anoying little kid) seems like he'd start to piss you off, but he doesn't. Its just funny when he talks because you think about punting him, and you start laughing

Besides you can change it to jappenese. Also the combat is impresive, beautiful, unique, brillant, challenging, and addictive. Its awesome if you ever liked a JRPG you will love this

Hmm...A musically inspired game by the music part of tri-ace....composed by one of my favorite composers....

...This is a must buy for me.

I am not paying full price for a year old port, so i won't be getting it anytime soon. Ill probably check out Valkeria insteadAclar00_basic

I played through an hour and a half of it last night.

It's fantastic.

All I could do is smile at everything in the game. I don't ever remember smiling that much since I went to Disney Land as a wee child. It's just that awesome.

The music, art style, characters, gameplay - it's everything I could have asked for from a JRPG.

The story is also incredibly touching. A certain scene with Polka almost brought me to tears. Also, Beat's just so damn awesome.

Good game.

I picked up the 360 version for $10 months ago.

I'm not saying im not going to pick it up, itll just have to wait until the price lowers. If anything, all of that content is nothing more than an extra $10 addon, making it worth $39.99 instead of $29.99

Why must all games contain "manly" characters? I don't get why a games looks would make it "girly." Viva pinata looks like a kiddie game yet it's awesome. I doubt LBP looks like a super awesome manly game but it's fun.
