I personally don't give a rats ass about rumble, but a lot of people seem to disagree with me. Why do you or don't you like rumble?

Personal choice.
I will enjoy it since I like rumble, those who don't, well no need to have it then.
It's a option :)
Any one that says they don't like it is kidding themselves to feel better about the PS3. I mean, why would anyone not like something that improves your immersion in a game?nosedive51

Ooooh wow! I just got shot in the head and my hand is rumbling! I really feel the IMMERSION.Haha, to be honest with you, I feel rumble (although cool sometimes) can also be annoying. 99% of thetime when you are caught up in agame you tend to forget the rumble is even happening.I remember when I bought the Wavebird wireless controllers for my Gamecube I wasn't sitting there lamenting because it didn't have rumble. In fact, I realized that wireless controllers with rumble can get annoying because for one rumble DRAINS the battery life. I can go on a single charge of one of my PS3 or Gamecube Wavebird controllers for months. So yeah, for those who like rumble, congrats you're getting it, and for the rest of us wanting to "feel better about our PS3", we can just stick with what we have...
And to everyone who like me dislikes rumble: how do you feel about it when it is the directional rumble that is (might be?) coming? I personally don't give a rat's ass about that as well, although I would like to try it out for a definitive opinion. Resistance's way of showing from which side you're hit which is similar to that in other games, works fine though. I can't come up with any application of directional rumble which would IMO really add to a game. I just don't really care about it.

Touchsense will own, critics that have already been given some hands on time with the technology state that it issomething that can actually change your gaming experience. I really hope Sony accepts Immersion's invitation to add it to the Dualshock 3.
i don't care about the rumble feature too, the way i see is that it will drain the batteries much faster than the regular controller.
