Your PSP battery... (Must read)

Guys, have you expirienced...

You bought a game, and your very excited to play, then your PSP's Battery is low...

Then you can't wait to charge it full...

My Question to you guys is:

How many hours your PSP battery's life when it is 100%?

I never timed how long it takes to charge. Manuel says 2 hours if completely drained.

It lasts 2-4 hours. I do need a new battery.

2-4 hours? OMG! 2-4 hours? that's fast....

I bought my battery last 4 months. My PSP's battery last 6-7 hours.

Then yesterday, I charged it to full battery then it last 5 hrs...

I don't think if my battery is fake or not. :-(

Playing while charging can shorten your PSP battery's life...

well you could take the battery out, and put in a 2nd fully charged battery. Thats one thing thats nice about the psp. You can even get an external charger too. then you could just play off the wall power while your battery is being charged by itself.

Mine lasts for around 5 hours on my PSP 3003 but it does depend how bright I have the screen.

My PSP 1000 Battery only lasts for 5 minutes though I have had that since 2005.

I have the PSP 2000 or whatever the first one is called and the battery seems to drain even when I'm not playing it :cry:. Usually lasts about 3-4 hours when fully charged though.

My PSP Go seems to last for 6-8 hours.tekken220

I had the same thing too... I did recharge my battery to 100% and let my psp there. When I came back one week later (I didn't open it since I've recharged it), it was at 20%... and it's a PSP 3000.

I think I might change my battery soon...

no, it actually last 14 hrs when not in use.

haha same here. my psp 1000 battery lasts a few minutes. if i don't turn it on for a couple days it dies too.

but for newer batteries, it really does count on what you're doing. brightness level, whether you are using wifi, whether you are running off the memory stick or UMD, etc. etc. My psp 3000 battery may last 2-3 hours on full brightness playing online with a umd, but it would prolly last more than 5 hours if just playing music.

The text is colorful... anyways mine lasts about 5-7 hours fully charged.
