Your PSP2 predictions or hopes.

No doubt the psp has been a success for sony and of course they will do a psp2. I reckon it will come out before PS4 does. I would like to know what your hopes and predictions are.

Here are some of my predictions

PSP2

CPU: cell processor (it super small and will be cheap by the time psp2 is out)

RAM: 256MB

HDD: 20GB (i think it might actually have a small hard drive in it, that would be cool)

Screen size: will be the same but much better in quality

Other things I would like to see are...

Built in camera

2nd analoge stick

Rumble would be cool

What's yours?

A second analog stick would be great.

To anyone reading this: How good do you think the graphics will be on the new PSP? And how many bits are the games on the PSP now? 64-128 maybe?

I agree with everything but rumble> It would be to hard to see the screen when its shaking.

But all those things above would Cost so much!!

I'm not too sure about a second analog stick, because then the side areas on the psp would be packed, and seem a tad disorganised. But maybe it'd be cool...

Camera? Built in, definitely. A built in microphone. would make playing online games so much more fun without having to use earphones.

Better screen, not that it isn't great now.

HD(or close to it) video out.

Hard disk, about 8 gigs, but 20 would be better.

Compatibilty for downloaded games(purchased online and transferred to PSP, not the D-word).

Affordable UMD movies and music.

Wider range of compatible video formats.

Louder speaker, perhaps with designs from another company, Bose(?) perhaps?

Some light rumbling features.

OK, I have had this wacky idea for an accessory that is like a mini DVD player that connects to the back of the PSP, and plays DVDs with output on the PSP screen. Wouldn't that be nice?

And that's pretty much all I can think of right now.

Rumble would jusy be a no-no for disc-reading purposes, unless they're like vibrating wrist-straps or something

Isn't Sony making those OLED's? Aren't those supposed to be bendable? If so then a foldable screen :D

except sony couldnt put in motion sensing or touch screen- nintendo fans would go apepoop and throw barrels like donkey kongat sony HQ even though wii wont really pull off motion sensing anyways. (maybe sixaxis style like carlosA_24said but apart from that they couldnt)

and all you idiots sending in links for psp2 pics its not that funny seeing all those DS come up its just stupid.

six axis would complete the psp2 in my opinion it would be so sweet

I hope they include, a 2nd analog stick, louder speakers, hard drive, and backwards compatibility. Although I doubt the PSP2 will be out anytime soon, being that they just released the slim psp.

According to this unreliable website, the PSP2 apparently leaked I'd hate the design they gave you, though, cuz it would be really uncomfortable with the Analogs at the top

EDIT: Here's a better picture. After a think about it, though. The analogs at the top wouldn't be too bad. A change, but not too big of a change.

nice list...i like the 802.11n so psp internet will be hell alot faster. I also add 512 ram, and the graphics should be similar to PS3, and also a touch screen.

You know, I wonder about that. Right now I can hardly imagine the ps3 even being slimmed down the way the ps2 was.

Let alone making a device close to it in portable form. But then I guess I would be saying the same about the ps2 back when it was released.

One thing I forgot to specify is that the screen has to have multi touch support.

PS3 graphics.

+ motion axis and rumble features.

also 2 analog stick. probably a mini blu-ray and PSP back-warcapability.

connection to the TV, longer battery, better speaker.

I like the touch screen ides. Sixaxis is not a good idea because when you tilt the psp2 you won't see the screen. I hope that the games will be on small flash memoery cards instead of the umd.

-able to recognize your voice so that whoever tries to steal it or find a lost psp2, you'll need your own voice so that you could access it

godamn, if all of these things mentioned in this thread were included in the next psp then it would cost a few grand
