Your Thoughts On Dead Space

what i think is that the stores in my area need to stop with the BS and let me buy the game lol. went to 5 different stores lookin for Dead space and Socom with no luck...... But its been gettin 9/10 everywhere, and its about 20hrs long so a buy imomarcl18123

the retail business doesn't get most holidays off, as I've worked many. And u would think they wont ship the stores a couple days before the release, but then they might have problems with stores breaking street dates, like the store the sold LBP to this guy like 3 days ago

His point is that while YOU may be working, the Post Office wasn't. And they kinda make up holidays as they go along. Only in America does the Post Office get the day off to honor the man that discovered... Haiti.

I have only done the first chapter so far, but I have followed this game for a while, and even went through the video comics that gave us a back story on the game. So far, I am really enjoying it. It's freaked out, looks amazing, the voice acting is put together fairly well, and even the combat system makes is fairly interesting. The sound and lighting overall is very well done. I have not played enough to give a better opinion on this, but so far so good!

The jump factor in this game is great. My little brother watched me play, I don't think he slept well after that. Haha. Can't wait to continue.

You know what, don't overhype yourself. That never works out well.However, this really is the one and only quality real horror game to come out in a while. The biggest thing about this game is that the story is acctually fairly cool/deep. Watch the video comics at gametrailers.com . It will be well worth it.TruedUp

Watch all the web comics on gametrailers. You will see what I mean. You will also enjoy the game a lot more if you watch these.

......the post office doesn't deliver videos games to walmart.... they have there own distribution centers, which again uses there own drivers, which arent giving off most holidays, (ask any long-haul truck driver).... and most stores like Gamestop and such have product delivered UPS/DHL, and being retail companies (not federally owned like the Post Office) I'm sure they don't wouldn't close just for Columbus day.

What abt the PS3 suit or the 360 suit that you can get for free? How do u do that?_JPH_

Hehe thanks. I actually have a 360 so I will go to the marketplace. Anyway same thing. But the real reason I asked is because in an article I read on gamespot, they said if you buy the game at launch, you will get the suit.

I'm on chapter 4 now and loving it. Its kind of like Resident Evil in space sort of. The camera works wonderfully to instill a certain amount of fear but also be effective (turning is a little slow/annoying but it actually works with the atmosphere of the game). The graphics are awesome, lighting is great at adding a little tension as are the sounds. So many times I found myself cautiously sneaking around a corner because I heard a little *ding* noise but it was just me knocking over some item. The only thing I'm wondering about is if you can carry over a completed game file to play again because it seems like you'd never ever be able to upgrade all of your gear, or even like one weapon to maximum specs.

You would do well with this in your collection. Sweet game.Phearz

in the review they said u can carry over all your gear to a new game, but you wont be able to change the difficulty setting from what i understand
